I actually always had a suspecion that Anders liked guys as well in Awakening.
He once called my warden a giver and sweet ans what not. Not to mention that his approval bar at some point said: "Love"
It's true that we can sometimes make pretty good guesses based on people's personality quirks, I won't deny that, and Anders is a good example, even Gaider said it when I was reading a post about Anders on his blog.
But that doesn't mean there aren't also people who go through the radar undetected. I've done it... all my life. Not on purpose, mind you. But it's something I've experienced first hand lol.
Being bisexual has absolutely nothing to do with not knowing what you want.

Yup, one of the reasons I love Varric...and why I am also very excited about Josephine being around. I have a feeling we'll have a lot more opportunities to solve things without violence this time around, and that excites me.
No, not quite. I honestly think he's ready to move on but he hasn't come to peace with it yet. He clearly is ready to date again, he even mentions going on dates with other women in the Legacy DLC, so it is not as if he will be some wounded deer waiting for my manic pixie lady dwarf to save him. I think that he might be holding on to the memory of Bianca, and of course being in the Fade and seeing her again would reopen old wounds.
My Cadash isn't there to save him but she'll help him through it if he needs to.
