...It's technically the end of August, correct?
I had wondered if they had planned to move the Keep back with Inquisition to keep their timeline straight, or if they were going to release it on time.

How exactly does that work?
There are always 2 protagonists. If you play solo, you can choose to control both of them or to let one of them be a bot. In combat you always control both of them though (and any companion you take along). There are different bot personalities. The game offers choice moments (like when you encounter someone stealing a fish) so depending on the bot's personality, they can agree or disagree with you. Whatever you choose, there will be permanent assigned stats added to each character (for example, compassionate gives you more charm).
In multiplayer, player 2 joins player 1's game and they can customize their own character and play on. Same argument system and all that. Whoever hires a companion controls that companion. It works pretty well.
Currently there aren't a lot of companions in game that can join your party but they're working on it. I think it's a splendid and fun game but it misses that WHAM feeling Dragon Age can give you. Which I imagine isn't easy to invoke when you're looking at everyone top down constantly.

I think I shall play five games at once, and they shall be thus:
1. Female Amell/Alistair/ritual/jointrule/MageHawke/Anders/Mages/Saarebas
2. Dalish female/Alistiar/Ritual/Loghainlives/RogueHawke/Merril/Dalishmage
3. MaleNobleDwarf/Harrowment/FemaleCadash
4. FemaleDwarfCommoner/Bhelan/Alistiar/Ritual/jointrule
5. Malecouslandwho'sbadatmakingdecisions/marriesanora/noritual/humanrogue/Cassandra.

As I stated on the banter thread, I think it's funny to romance my dwarf girls to Alistair but marry him to Anora. That would be very, very common in dwarf society.
From the banter thread:
*From behind a locked door*
Anora: Contrary to what you did at the landsmeet, the king's by-blows by some harlot are generally NOT in line for the throne!
*Breaking glass*
Warden Aeducan/Brosca: In Orzamaar, the king is encouraged to take many concubines to produce swords and heirs for his house!
*Loud thump*
Anora: This isn't Orzamaar!
Warden: It is if the king says it is!
*Alistair peers from under a tablecloth*
Alistair: Shhh. Don't tell them where I'm at.

Was that banter with an Aeducan? Because I could totally picture politically savvy Aeducan putting Anora in her place.
And it made me happy.
Either/or. I see my Broscas as being a little more naive, but both end up romancing Alistair and marrying him to Anora at the landsmeet. They consider themselves to be his noble-hunter, which is what the above argument is about. Would there to be any little blond dwarflings running around (canon says there won't be), the warden wants them to have the same upbringing as any child of Anora. Anora...disagrees. Cultural misunderstandings.

Same here. Again, it's a cultural gap they're crossing. The human king is not supposed to (admit to) mistresses and illegitimate children, but the dwarf wardens may see that as a waste, as it happens just as often as it does in Orzamaar. Although neither warden was happy when Anora asked them not to "embarrass" her. They may see themselves as noble-hunters, but they do have standards!

I get Anora's side too. And I for one don't even hate Anora like a lot of people seem to. I like her a lot and think she makes a good queen.
I agree. My only gripe is that when you tell her you don't put her on the throne she does side with her father, who she admits is nuts, so she can keep the throne. I was wondering what her priorities were, I mean there IS a blight. But she's a good ally and a good queen. I like her well enough.

I hope she's around if she's not queen. I'd like to see her doing...something. Planning a coup, something. But if she married the warden or Alistair, she's an ideal queen. That's how I see her, functioning, as long as she's in the role she sees herself in.

I know, right? Typically I marry Alstair to Anora unless I'm human, but I like how dwarf culture justifies it. I find that fascinating.
Warden: Okay, so if it's a girl...we'll name her Dunca and we'll send her to the wardens as soon as she's old enough, and if it's a boy will call him Cailan and marry him off to a bannorn family...

Speaking of Anora, I love how Fereldan nobility doesn't distinguish much between class and gender. Consider the number of women in ranking positions, like the lady you give the ring to in the tavern, or Anora leading an army personally. Can you picture the de Launcets leading an army? No, but the Fereldan nobility, whether male or female, makes a hobby of it.
That's something I'd like to see again. Denerim castle is under siege, and you have to help Alistair and Anora defend it, witty party banter between both.

Excuse me while I blatantly copy this awesome idea:
Run 1 with Eirlys Cadash: Female Brosca/Alistair/Ritual/Wardens/RogueHawke/NoOne/Mages/
Run 2 with Nihelin Adaar: Female Amell/NoOne/NoRitual/JointRule/MageHawke/Fenris/Templars
Run 3 with Ailishe Lavellan: Female Aeducan/Zevran/Ritual/AnoraRulesAlone&LoghainIsAlive/WarriorHawke/Isabela/Mages
Haven't planned the rest yet but I've got loads of DAO runs.

I'll probably be reading the wiki or tv tropes after the game comes out, see something I haven't seen, and dash off to make a new keep.

I disagree that the glowing figure and the inquisitor know one another. Such things and imagery are common in fantasy stories. Even Eternal Darkness has the dancer getting the heart of Mantorok from...someone. I do think the chantry imagery is deliberate, though, and I agree with the dev decision to keep the specifics on Andraste and the Maker left to the imagination, but I can see it being a spirit of hope, as some have suggested, or faith, going by the chantry imagery.
Also, despite the naysayers, I think we get a pet dragon and the horn on the belt is to summon it. Perhaps we find a hatchling or an egg in the temple of sacred ashes, and take it home with us? And be the best of friends?

I think it's important that the Inquisitor is reaching to the figure with his left hand, the same one imbued with the power to close tears in the Veil.
I suspect that's how they get the ability.

I agree, I don't think reaching towards that figure implies a prior relationship. If you're injured and/or stuck in a hostile environment, then a figure basked in light (common imagery for salvation) seems like a natural thing to reach for.
Also I would love a tameable dragon... even a lesser one.
