@Bluedrake Found it!!
Maybe it can't be equipped because it's exclusive to Varric?
@Bluedrake Found it!!
please be a bug. That would be a super bad way for Bianca to go!
@Bluedrake Found it!!
<snip>
Hmm...interesting find. However what I find more troublesome is that she appears to be unequipped from Varric with Varric nowhere in sight....maybe you can only destroy her if Varric is...well...you know... ![]()
Why is everyone talking about Varric getting killed?! What's happened!?
Seriously, its nothing. Just some fan art.
I really doubt they are going to kill Varric.

My bad. Talked about my brain being a trolling cesspool of paranoia about Varric maybe dying in DAI. Sorry^^;

Relax people. What you are seeing is a list of the total weapons in the inventory. Bianca is even marked as "equipped."

Could be but we won't know for sure because they aren't playing a rogue, thus can't equip bows ect.. The "destroy" option is the really the crazy part of this. I'm still having a hard time believing it, even though it's clearly giving us the option to do it. I'm expecting a massive troll face to appear on screen, then it immediately triggers a cutscene where Varric beats us to death for even trying. ![]()

I was thinking that too, but Varric was still an option at the party selection screen before this.
So, I don't think he's dead.
Edit: Welcome back Silkie!! *throws confetti*
In other titles my favorite characters are often left for dead, but not Dragon Age thus far (besides sorta Anders, I guess?) But yeah, I'm not worried about Varric going anywhere. He's loved too much. ![]()

Alistair was one of the most popular characters in DA and he can still be beheaded or end up a wandering drunk claiming to be a prince.
Fan Popularity doesn't seem to matter much to Bioware when they write their storyboards.
Totally off topic but I'm trying really hard to not do that questionnaire thing again for my other characters. Those things are so addictive to me lol
Back on topic:
I do kind of hope that there's a possibility for everyone (not all at once) to die at some point or another depending on what you do or don't do. Not because I want them to die, just literally to have different outcomes for my play throughs. I'm not a big fan of my companions having an unavoidable death >.> Know what I mean?
Do it! They're insanely fun.
I've heard talk about a "fail ending" akin to the failure of the suicide mission in ME2, but I don't have anything solid to back it up with.
I love different outcomes like that too so I'd actually be in support of an everyone dies ending being an option. Personally I'm hoping there will be an ending where the player can side with the big bad as well. ![]()
Ehmn...wow I sound morbid. ![]()

True, but Alistair living seems to be the default canon, whilst I'm not so sure about Anders after reading a dev response about his official status. Alistair was widely popular while Anders ended up being widely loathed for obvious reasons, so I think they are still kinda swayed by it... somewhat... maybe.
Well, hopefully they'll at least give us the option to save characters from dying unlike Mass Effect 3. I can't handle anymore forced plot tied deaths...

I would like that too, actually. XD I'm all for as much variety as possible even though I tend to play good guys. I like seeing outcomes on the opposite end of the spectrum even if it means watching someone else do it.

Yeah... I had some tears for certain... deaths in that game. ME3 is one of those rare games that has done that to me. :| The worst part is I found out a certain character could actually be saved, but you had to have a very specific (and kinda renegade) file import for it to happen, so it was impossible for me to save them. *sniffs*

"canon" is a funny word when it comes to DA, What i think you mean is Bioware's default world state.
There isn't a canon per say, there is a default that things happen by such and such margin, The world keeps on turning with a balding fat drunken alistair whining about how his best friend betrayed him and took in a murdering former general over him.

I had no clue it was possible for him to live until way after beating the game. lol.

I like Alistair, but that visual made me chuckle. XD
I tend to call it "Bioware's personal headcanon." The nature of the game makes Dalish Elf/US/Mage Hawke/Mages as valid as Human Noble/Ritual/Warden Rules with Anora/Warrior Hawke/Templars.
