Hmm... I need to just go buy every BioWare game I can find. Outside of the Dragon Age and Mass Effect world, I'm a newb to be honest. Plus that would be a great way to distract me until DAI.

While we still can't play dwarven mages in Inquisition, I'm going to be hopeful and assume the text means we might be able to in the future.

I've never thought to myself, "Sure would love to play this game...BUT the main character is a male." It's a form of escapism. It's like saying one won't read books with protagonists too different from the reader. Nobody does that.

Yeah I've totally done that. Granted I don't always, but sometimes I do

Now that I've calmed down a bit and am not wanting to stupidly run around in circles: I'm wondering what Varric will think of us being from a big criminal family that works with the Carta?

Whelp looks like Aitya is going to need a little rewriting as well. I always pictured him a little more lanky being a mage, but its not a surprise that qunari males are naturally large.

When I first saw the "dwarven mage" image that's what I thought, too. I was like... what if we're the first known dwarven mage? Maybe a tad cheesy, but I'd take it. XD

Yes I had a similar picture in my head for my male adaar mage as well. For some reason I just assumed the bodies for the mages wouldn't be so muscled like for the other classes.
