Wasn't that Qunari you posted a girl? O.o
EDIT: And while I imagined a less bulky Qunari mage, think of the Saarebas in DA2

Teehee. "It didn't go well."
I don't think Adessa will like being from a big crime family, but she'd do what she had to... I'm still way too excited.
OH MY GOD.
-runs around-
I don't think my Cadash Inquisitor will like it much either, but if my Brosca could manage working with the Carta, so can she. I wonder how much we'll be able to play our Cadash Inquisitors as someone who disagreed a lot with their family and didn't like working with the Carta. They mention the Trevelyan Inquisitor can feel differently about the Chantry than their family, so it might be the same for Cadash. That could potentially be really interesting. In any event, I think the Inquisition will be a perfect chance for my Cadash to redeem herself and her family.
Does anyone else read these in Duncan's voice? No, just me?
Now I am. It's perfect. ![]()
Whoa,I just realized this is the first time we've seen the Qunari male isn't it? He's huge! O_O
And they said Iron Bull was going to be even bigger...
I'm so excited we're getting our first glimpses at some of the other Inquisitors.
...Are we SUUUUURE we can't play as a dwarf mage? Really, really sure? Because...that sounds like some protagonist stuff right there.
Hey, you never know, maybe after the whole fade rifts all over the world thing, some dwarves will start having magic powers and then we can play one in the next game. ![]()
I was totally reading the bios in Duncan's voice too, guys. haha
.....
That totally flew over my head.. but you're right Chesty! I was too busy checking out the Dwarves and going pretty much like this

Haha! I was too busy gawking over the dwarves to pay attention either. Only reason why I noticed is because my younger brother said "New DA info? Oh, let me see the Qunari Inquizzy!" And I was like, "There's other races besides the dwarf?..oh, right" O_O

Was it? *checks for breasteses on the Qunari's chesteses*....I can't really tell from the picture. >.<

I think Varel did it better ![]()
Yeah, my M!Qunari Malik will need a bit of reimagining as well. >.> I was hoping to make him a little less bulky and more slender like the concept art:
Oh well....
Yeah, I was seeing Bayram to be slimmer. But that concept art kinda looks like a lady to me so maybe they weren't misleading us?
Also has anyone noticed that all the BG stories EXCEPT the human involves you being a spy for whatever faction you were a part of?
Dwarf? Carta spy
Elf? Dalish spy
Kossith? Mercenary spy
human? your family forced you to go (mage? your circle did)
Kinda like that, really. Shows the climate Thedas is in and why they're there. No one trusts anyone else.

Nah, it sounds like some SANDAL stuff to me ![]()

Qunari quizzy isn't a spy. It's a hired mercenary.

The magic will come back, all of it. Everyone will be just like they were, when he rises...

I like to think you actually did both those things (carefully, of course, with the rolling)

Agreed. I wonder how Varric will like my Cadash being an (ex?)Carta member? How will the Carta feel about that? I don't like the Carta but does Vollna? Is this gonna have something like Mass Effect where your past is gonna be asking for favors with your new status and all?
Alllllll very interesting.
The magic will come back, all of it. Everyone will be just like they were, when he rises...
*tosses a rock at sandal*
He made the Potty before he made prophecy.

Qunari are actually sent as hired swords, but I find that pretty cool too! I think the Qunari and Dwarven backgrounds sound the coolest actually. Human Noble is, eh... expected. and it will be fun to get to be Dalish again ~

Yeah, qunaris are there as hired hands, not spies. And human mages aren't forced to go by the Circle. They join the talks as part of a mage delegation after fighting templars to survive for a while.
I wonder if that background means our human mages can't be rebels who welcomed the fall of their Circle...

Good catch, read that too quick. Nope, the Chantry just hired peoples to be bouncers I guess. But wouldn't be be just as uneasy with heretics around? WE know that they aren't affiliated with the Qun, but in reality, most people barely know the diff between Kossith and Qunari, I highly doubt that the people of Thedas would hold this as common knowledge. It'll be really interesting to see how people react at the conclave
I'll just leave this here...
The Varricmancer link strikes again I see.
I was literally two seconds away from posting this

It's all in how you play, I suppose.
I read that they just thought it would be funny if Sandal said some creepy nonsense and it wasn't supposed to mean anything, but it is kinda starting to sound like the plot of DAI.

More than ever want Varric to be LI.
So which should I make first, the Aeducan male who finds a house for his son with Harrowment, or the Brosca who supports Bhelan and becomes noble-hunter to the king of Fereldan? And what sort of Hawke....?
It's all in how you play, I suppose.
Yeah, I'm not too worried. We could be joining the peace talks to keep an eye on it and make sure not only pro-Circle mages have a voice. Or for any other number of reasons, like our family.
I don't think my Adaar would like being a mercenary, but would see it necessary to stay free and it fits into her always moving background anyway.
