I'm not too bitter about the backstories. I expected them to be different than mine.

Now I can start planning all my Quizies. 8D without romances tho.

All of them? That sucks. My sympathies. The only one I need to rework is my Cadash...I guess I got pretty lucky with background predictions.

I'm pretty happy about what we know of the dwarven quizzy's background. I got lucky this time because the info we've been given matches up with my Cersei perfectly. Which is kind of a surprise since I have terrible luck and generally don't get anything that I want. Apparently, I insulted the keeper of the universe at some point and he still hasn't forgiven me for it. I'm sorry for the people who it didn't work out for though...that sucks.

 

YES! I agree. In fact, I had already planned to shamelessly show off my Inquisitors.

If we have to register DAI to our accounts here like we did in DAO and DA2, you could just copy and paste the profile pictures.

Doesn't that only work if you play on PC? I have no idea how most things work on this site still since I only joined this year^^; I'll be playing on the 360 since I can't afford next gen or a updated desktop computer.

No, I play on 360(though will be on the Xbox Eins for DAI) yet I was able to see them for previous games.

It showed our character profile pictures for any system we registered.   I think that will probably be the case for DAI as well.

Now, I saw someone wrote something about how peace is unnatural or something like that. So I'm going to go off on a tiny OT rant on how stupid that is.

Speaking as someone who's country is currently enjoying a streak of over 200 years of peace: You sir, are dead wrong. Our history used to be very bloody, we were conquerors and our society was kind of built around our army. The only thing we got out of that was a few years of glory and a lot of years of poverty. Our long lasting peace enabled us to build a better society. We have thrived in our peace, it's not perfect but it's a lot better than the alternative. So when you speak of peace and how silly the idea of it is, I pity you. Because there's another way, it's hard but it works. It doesn't make you soft, it doesn't make you weak. It makes you strong.

Needed to get that out of my system, now back to Varric!

I got lucky with the background for my Adaar as it fits into my headcanon well, so I only had to tweak it a little.

people are still gonna be mad that the human inquisitor's family are devout andrastians.  side note, i dont remember if they had previously said the dwarf quizzy would be in the carta, if they did oh well, but still kinda cool....  i always did wish that they would have explored hawke's athenril or meerin connections more, this kinda gives me that feelin

I don't think people are mad about that? It would be surprising if a noble human family wasn't Andrastian. People only want the option not to be devout themselves, which is even indicated in the description.

People will find things they don't like in everything. You can't please everyone. But I do feel for those of you who have made up huge and elaborate backstories that no longer fit. I hope you can tweak them so that they fit once more, or that you come up with even better ideas now that you know what you have to work with in game!
