So, besides playing, what are you guys doing to celebrate the arrival of your copy of DAI? I like to get sodas and something gaming-friendly to munch.
My friends and I are throwing a release day party, after we pick up our games, after we've crashed and slept.

Also, my boyfriend and I are trying to figure out how we are going to avoid spoiling things for each other when it comes out but I'm actually very nervous about going to the bathroom and overhearing something I shouldn't.

A "certain person" I know has this way of saying things are gonna happen in the game but adds "just kidding" at the end to make it seem like a joke..except it's not a joke because the stuff he says is always what actually happens! (sed person always beats games before me) haha I've been spoiled quite a few times that way! So, it's pretty much inevitable at this point...*sigh*
As for leaving the forum, I'll still be around after release but I'll just stick to this thread and not deviate from it at all costs. I don't think anyone in here would post spoilers about the game for a while after release. It should be pretty safe. I hope....

Lol, that's pretty accurate. Poor Varric if he thought that he had it bad before, if Bioware announce him as a LI, the flood gates will open like this.
I'm so glad nobody is leaving. And it got so lovey and sentimental in here, that's why I love this place. :3 When the game launches I'm going to avoid the rest of the forum for awhile, but I'll still come in here. I plan to buy tons of junk food and avoid all human contact out of school/work and Varric thread.

Ooh, as an added twist it should also depend on whether he was friends or rivals with Hawke (friend = support who Hawke supported, rival = support whoever Hawke didn't).
I imagine doing anything that annoys Cassandra in his presence will be a quick way to get Varric's approval.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up but I hope we at last get some impact on choosing mages or templars in DA2.
I just wanted to let everyone here know that all of you are great. Both the Varric thread and the Solas thread have been full of very kind and loving people who were all supportive and special. I originally came on to the Bioware Social Network with the immediate thought that all I'd find were individuals who taunted or argued instead of being pleasant or debating civilly.
I am perfectly capable of getting along with people and making friends but I find it hard to actually want to socialize in general because I usually feel like I'm obligated to... but these threads had people I enjoyed talking to. It made me want to get on the threads every once in a while because it was fun and full of happy and supportive people.
I know I was more active in the Varric thread than the Solas thread, but that doesn't change the factors that I've been on both at least once a day to catch up.
There were so many unique debates, interesting theories, happy conversations, and hilarious random shenanigans. It was impossible not to smile or laugh when I was on one of those threads.
I originally had no intention of coming here... In fact the main reason I am here is because my computer broke and I couldn't delete certain accounts on this phone. It started with Twitter and Facebook; for some reason, I cannot cancel my accounts. But because of that I just added Dragon Age and the devs to my Twitter account and decided to give this place a try. I still have every intention of deleting my accounts... but coming here was worth it.
It's an amazing experience for me to have found people who just get what I'm talking about. I don't feel out of place, I don't feel like I ramble like an idiot. In a sense I feel like I have a mini home.
So I just wanted to thank everybody in the Solas and Varric threads for just being wonderful and continuing to be supportive and giving.

Oh, I'm thinking we most certainly will, since that's a huge part of what the game is, mages vs. templars. I also hope we have the ability to play neutral though, because for my more chaotic characters I would like that. I don't think I want my chaotic neutral dwarf championing anyone's cause. But Vitani will shed blood for mages. *nods*

I basically am going to do what I did for dark souls 2, take a week off. Stock up on some yummy snacks, and things that take long times to cool so I can do my two favorite activities. Cook and GAMES~

I don't know if I'll be strong enough to leave the forums when the game comes out but considering all the spoilers I don't think I'll be coming back on until I beat it at least once and either bail out from the forums when I know whose race gated or two weeks from the games release whichever comes first I guess. I'd like to have a celebration for my new game but I already know that won't be the case until late at night where I won't have family bothering me so I can play till my hearts content which will probably leave me with no sleep for at least three days~ 
So sick of people calling Cass and Sera ugly. At least I never have to see anyone hating on Varric's looks.
I find it funny that they don't simply find the characters ugly, but that they assume Bioware is making them ugly as in a conspiracy or out of laziness. Whenever I find a character ugly, I immediately assume it's just me and plenty of other people find them beautiful.
