There is no confirmation on Solas as a LI. The only mention of him is when they use him as an example when discussing the approval system. Let's not get the Solas thread's hopes up too high (Although I think it's likely he's a LI).

I guess this is what they meant.
For example, I remember that Gaider stated that (most dialogues aren't locked out by approval. You'll get them, but the dialogue itself will change a bit based on the approval level. Maybe it's something similar for the romance.

Maybe there's approval, but talking to somebody won't just net you + or - points towards that approval like in Origins. As in you get approval or disapproval based on actions instead of just not saying the right thing in conversation.

Definitely want closure. If there's DA4 with Varric and maybe maybe Bianca maybe? then I will slap many objects.

Maybe it's because I'm unhappy, but I can't picture getting Varric and Bianca back together again as being satisfying.  More like Joker and Edi:
