Not for Varric, it's basically no, not ever...not gonna happen.  It was all about varric for me, it wasn't a dwarf thing...

Not to be pessimistic, but I honestly doubt he'll be a companion or a major character again.

I don't think Varric is going to be a companion three games running, somehow. And it seems like he won't be a romance because of Bianca. There's a fair chance we'll be able to reunite them, rendering the point moot.

 

I've been keeping a bottle of cider in the fridge just in case we got a romance confirmation. So even though I was out drinking last night, I got it out this evening and raised a glass to what might have been, in some other life. I guess Varric would approve.

Ugh, I'm really disappointed on behalf of all the Varric fans, that I am happy to count myself among.  Like some of the rest, I always knew it was a small chance, but I guess I really started to believe it would happen.  Disappointment sucks! 

 

So on the other front, that leaves: Vivienne, Solas, and Blackwall left as options.  I'm pulling for The first two out of those options, because of Blackwall's taint issues.  (probably too soon for speculation though, so sorry for that if it is inappropriate.)

Why not?,Cullen is already in 3 DA games and now romanceable,maybe Varric will be romanceable in his 3rd appearance in the 4th game. :P

Cullen was a minor character in the previous games though.
