Sigh. What's most exasperating is the fact that other returning characters were quickly denounced as love interests, whereas Varric was always given an ambiguous answer. While I'm not heart broken over it, it is disappointing that he isn't a romance, and apparently never will be, and that we're 0/3 on dwarf romances in the dragon age series.
On the upside, this makes Vivienne more likely by process of elimination. I had my heart set on Varric and Vivienne both, but I'll settle for Solas/Vivienne. ;D
I'm getting increasingly convinced we're never actually going to see a dwarf romance. Hopefully by tomorrow I can convince myself otherwise.

Same here. Sad about Varric but am glad that my Solassians will probably get Solas now, and I'm hopeful for it.
I don't want anyone to be disappointed at this point but I know that another group will be after us here in the Varric thread why can't we all get what we want T_T
