I'm really sorry to hear that Varric isn't a love interest. I am primarily a Cullenite, but I was hoping he would be one too.

Yeah, I think we can put the art requests from yesterday on hold, at least for now.

 

I'm still gonna pull through and get all this art done! I may be sad but I will use this sadness as artistic fuel! Because emotions and art...and stuff, right? And sad music will help. Maybe I shouldn't go overboard or I'll end up making the actual artwork sad.

My condolences every one.  Dwarves never seem to get much love in this series.  Although I am finding myself a little surprised at people saying they don't want to play DA:I anymore because of this news.  Let's put things into perspective!    Although....if Cassandra turns out to be race-gated...

I know Varric has always had his mysterious past with Bianca, and in the back of my mind I felt like it was there to be brought to light eventually, and this was the most obvious option, but man if we weren't hopeful, dammit. And I still hope that one day Dwarves will get the option to be loved.

I feel much better now seeing that I'm not alone in my disappointment, and moreso seeing all the lovely people comforting us diehard Varricmancers. Normally the Bioware fandom is pretty insufferable, but this may be the first time I've seen a general positive atmosphere on BSN. You people are awesome. Thank you.

I mostly lurked anyway, but I suppose now it'd be best to stay off of BSN until the game comes out, hah. I'm actually kind of excited to destroy Thedas; I've never done an evil playthrough in any Bioware game, should be interesting to change my canon.

I just wanted to say that you guys have my utmost respect for the patience and dedication you have shown these past few years. I know some of you have been waiting since DA2 to romance Varric so it's dispiriting to hear that option isn't possible at all. At least, we can hopefully look forward to an incredible friendship with him again.

Ah hell.  You ever heard that great song American Pie?  Well, today's the day official Varricmance died.  But like all the Shoker shipping, we will live on.  We will rebuild, and grow stronger.  We will face the monsters that are at our door.  

 

We are cancelling the pessimism!

Noooo    Why didn't they just tell us sooner? that way my now broken heart would at least have time to heal before the game is released. I knew it was a very slim chance but....I was still very hopeful and now I'm crushed   I'm only interested in Varric,Cullen and Solas for LI's . I sure hope Solas will be one then,if not my inquisitors will only have Cullen....

 

Now excuse me while I go cry into a corner....
