:D...I heart Covenant, they're amazing live, so much energy!  And lovely..very lovely.  One of them used to (probably still does) play WoW on my server, he's in a guild with friends of mine and I only found out by chance after I'd seen them live and posted about it on facebook, one of those friends went and dropped the news...next thing I know the dude has pm'ed me in game and I had a bit of a Wayne's World moment, I'd been in love with them for like 10 years...

I'm glad it makes you happy! :D

Oh that's great! That's really really cool (and random), I can imagine the reaction xD

Crap, Scotland is a bit far for me to come :(

If I could move it closer I would.

Update on the art from way before, spoilered so not to clutter the page:

Spoiler

Varric being out of the running I sincerely hope my Cadash can romance Cullen. Otherwise I'll have to give Solas a shot. :D

Also, is it true that people can take your lives, but cant take your freedom?

Okay, don't know much about  the geography down south, city/town wise. The only places I know are Warwick, Manchester and London, mainly due to a cousin who lives down there.

Yes we take our lives and freedom very seriously, we're not normally as aggressive as that, we're a nice people that like to make fun of ourselves, enjoy an good drink or four and good food, all while running about in tartan kilts and skirts while speaking in tongues.

If you came here recently, you would think it but yes we take our lives and freedom very seriously.

Good luck with that becoming a country thing by the way.

As an American who knows nothing about politics, economics, or all around good ideas, i hope Scotland becomes a country for no other reason then that it would instantly be the best country in Europe.

Also, if it does happen, you guys need to start speaking Gaelic again.

Oh you'd need to throw past London...around 60 miles past...

Yup, Scotland needs to stay Scotland.

Thank you for your support and some of us still do speak Scottish Gaelic-it's  different from the other Gaelics, just because we like to make it more confusing- I just started learning it for my future job prospects and it's being taught again as a main language alongside english in quite a few schools.

I love America, I have a cousin that stays there and I used to visit a few times when I was a lot younger, I had the most amazing times-she thought it would be fun to take us on a road trip and got us lost

Offtopic, but A Muppet's Christmas Carol is my absolute favorite Christmas movie.

Mine is Die Hard.

So sorry if this has been discussed but what if Hawke let Varric keep the Idol shard in DA2?  Will he go batsh*t insane at some point on us?

It's an interesting question... I guess they couldn't make too much of it as not everyone would have done that (I gave it to him, which in retrospect seems crazy!) but I imagine it will get a reference at some point.  Maybe he got rid of it (or was forced to) to (partly) justify being able to customise Bianca again?  Or because, maybe, he realised it was making him go batsh*t insane? ;)

So is it actually a language people use there? I assumed it was sort of a dead language. Thats pretty cool.

I've always wanted to visit Scotland. Though I admit it probably wouldnt match my somewhat... cartoon view of what its like. Id probably be disappointed at the lack of people in kilts with bag-pipes.

Ohhh really?!  I love old languages, I find them far more interesting than anything that's spoken widely...Cornish, there's something I'd like to see make a comeback...

I love celtic countries/people/history/culture, all of my favourite people are either Irish, Scottish or Welsh...

Unless your up in the highlands at the games or my uncle, most people don't wear kilts unless they are playing bag pipes out on the streets-you can find this anywhere in Scotland just listen for the strangled cat noise at the start-,at a wedding or it's Rabbie Burns night-more like week.

I'm studying to be a Celtic archaeologist-ancient Ireland, Scotland and Wales-, so its part of the course as I'll be up in obscure Highland areas where it's the main language.

It really is a beautiful place, and the cows are so fluffy I could hug them all day. Stayed in lochloman (sorry if misspelled) once, god it was so amazing, the air was so fresh and the mountains were glorious.
