I've decided not to plan any romances now, in fact, I'm even leaving what I roll as to an actual roll of the dice, because I want to play so many different playthroughs, I just can't decide what I want to play as first! So I'm kind of excited to play each game as it comes, with only a basic idea of what kind of inquisitor, personality wise, that I'll be in each game. Since I can't have my first choice of Varric anymore, I want the available LIs to suprise me, and even in my dissapointment I'm happy having IB, Cullen, and either Solus or Blackwall (I doubt both and given up being hopeful at that consolation prize!) as my choices, since my tastes in men are extremely varied in RL and I don't actually have a set 'type' both in looks or personality!

I'm pretty much the same. The only other announced characters I'm interested in are Dorian and the Bull so I'm going to go after them at some point.

On that note, does anyone have any good insight on the Bull? I'm thinking maybe Vollna might like to -hashtag- ride the bull lol

So, you guys remember that F!qunari drawing I posted? Well, I noticed a few major problems with it, so I went ahead and modified it again. I made changes to the arm which was WAY too long, and to her face which was practically devoid of shading. Anyway, I'm putting up before and after pictures for comparison.

Thanks! I'm probably setting myself up for disappointment though, designing so many characters before even seeing the capabilities of the DA3 CC. It's just that I'm having too much fun to stop now! But when I post more art in the future, I'll look over the final design a little better to keep from reposting like this.

Aw, but I don't mind the reposts, I love to see the work in progress And fingers crossed we can make our characters look like that in game!

I'm thinking Elven Female Rogue for Sera (was first planing for Cullen but I really want to have a Mage romance with him), Qunari Female Mage for Cullen (but this last one can be completely ruined if he turns out to be race-restricted), Human Male Warrior for Josephine (my canon) and Dwarven Male Warrior for Iron Bull (because the smallest guy and the tallest guy have to happen).

I thought about doing dwarf for Iron Bull, for that very reason. But I decided to go elf instead. So, not as short, but not as sturdy as a dwarf either. I'm hoping that they'll have some extra lines for an elf and dwarf with him, maybe something for the fans that know originally, he was going to be gated.

Or maybe just elves? Pretty unlikely, but we don't know for sure.

 

Take this with a grain of salt, but I think Epler did a tweet at one point where he mentioned he was almost done with Iron Bull, and he was just finishing up the male elf scenes. Which would imply he was gated against elves - you'd think he'd finish the stuff that was actually scheduled before he went above and beyond.

 

(Yes, I will over-analyze basically anything.)

Who knows? Dwarves definitely, because of how difficult that height difference had to have been to animate. But the way they had that whole "will sleep with anyone he won't break" thing almost makes it sound like he could have been gated against elves too. Because dwarves are a lot sturdier than elves, so I would think an elf would be more of a "breaking" concern than a dwarf. Either way though, it doesn't matter, because the animators are awesome, and he's not gated anymore!

Ah yes, Epler truly is awesome for doing that. Makes me feel like I should romance Bull with my dwarf instead of my human... but I really wanna romance him with a mage. >.> And my dwarf I've decided will be crazy and unstable because Bioware didn't give her Varric.

I've been thinking that I'll have my Cadash (Vollna) romance the Bull. Mostly because I'm not interested in anyone else really at the moment. This could change in game as I play but in the mean time I wonder how committed he'll be, you know? Is he gonna be like Zevran? Free love and all that until he meets the warden (inquisitor) and settles down?

Or is he gonna be like Jacob and has commitment issues?
