My word the Keep looks amazing. I know I'm gonna waste hours in it.

 

I wonder, can we edit appearances of the Heroes? Mostly because I lost my original DA2 Hawke and I don't wanna go for the template look. I didn't really see that in the preview.

Was hoping they'd surprise us with a release date for the keep, or outright release it during pax, but the vid says they're still working om it and doing the closed beta.

Well....damn I didn't finish the video but I'm not too thrilled with what I saw from the Keep. Though thats mostly due to me having no idea (and being unable to since I used different emails for here and the games) up load the heroes and what not and I don't know I only got about 8 minutes in so I'm probably being unfair but from that short amount it just looked really boring to me. I'm sure/hoping I'll change my mind when I get into it cause I was looking forward to the Keep (until I started to kind of get the gist of how it would work.)

I think it's one of those things that are boring to watch when other people do, but is so much fun when you get to try it yourself.

I feel you, I lost some of my old save files because I forgot to back them up when I changed my harddrive... But omg the amount of choices we'll be able to do! We even get to pick if we saved the Halla in the dalish camp. That's some customization xD

I'm excited about the video Varric will be narrating for the Keep. It is nifty how you can edit your choices in the video. That should make it a lot easier for people who haven't played the game before to customize their save without needing to know a lot about the world or spend a lot of time on editing the save if they don't want too. Everything looks gorgeous too.

Shouldn't the appropriate Origin account be the same as the Bioware account that you use for the forums? I thought that was the idea of the forum accounts anyways, and both this one and my Origin account are linked.

From my understanding we can't edit their appearances in the Keep. Maybe we can in game?

I have no idea to be honest. The email I regularly use is not the one I used for this site and the last time I tried to make an Origin account i was told I was not allowed to so I really am not sure what is going on with it.

Exactly! So when they release the keep, you should be able to just enter the same email address and password
