Did someone say they'd be wrapping up The Exalted March DLC that never actually happened? I can't remember if that was speculation or if one of the devs said something about it.

They said they were taking some of the plot from Exalted March and were reworking it for Inquisition. But that was a long time ago.

At night, with the encampment behind her, it was almost possible to believe she was alone in the forest.

 

The distance and the trees made the crackling of flames sound smaller somehow, like a friendly little camp fire. The flapping of canvas and creaking of tent poles was almost lost beneath the sound of the wind fighting its way through the leaves overhead. You could almost forget a small contingent of armed and dangerous folk slept nearby. Some strangers, some friends. Some... undecided.

 

She was looking up at the stars as the footsteps approached. She recognised the step, distinctive in its heavy yet careful tread, and did not need to turn and look to know who was approaching. For a few more moments she could stand alone with only the glittering points of light for company, just as she had before... Before everything changed.

 

"Inquisitor?" Varric spoke softly, creating an illusion of privacy that somehow excluded the nearby sentry from the conversation. "Can't sleep?"

I really thought he had the best chances of all the guys. Ah well, at least Solas has been a pleasant surprise all around. Varric and I shall simply be besties once again.

Last i heard some of it would be featured in DAI: But the DLC it self will never be launched.

Aw nuu. :c This is why it's so tough even when I don't mind personally what the final LI is, because I have people I know on here on both sides and I want them all to be happy.

Well, someone has to get the short end of the stick now. It sucks. But that's how it is.

this is me right now. It really couldn't matter less to me, personally. the beard on blackwall is appealing. and Vivienne's fabulousness is indeed fabulous and yet I'll be ok either way.  BUT I do feel for those who will have their feelings hurt, because it will happen.

Yeah from what it sounded like they were just going to put parts of it into Inquisition. It was originally supposed to wrap up Hawke's story from what I understand. I have a hunch that we'll encounter Hawke on a quest related to the Exalted Marches.
