It's really a futile argument at this point. We can't change it now to make it more equal. I'm just arguing for future games to have equal options for all orientations.

I gave up reading that thread very closely.  It got frustrating.  So many people were arguing about things, sometimes when their views were not even all that different form each other.  Sometimes I think people in romance threads just default automatically to defending their opinion to the death, even if it isn't being challenged.  However some of those posts were truly offensive.  So many people truly don't understand what it means to always be the least represented demographic in all forms of media.

Yeah, some of them were borderline homophobic. It gets pretty rough in there. But then theirs people on the LGBTQ side arguing to have more options than the other orientations. I don't think inequality can be fixed by more inequality.

Positive discrimination is bad. Straight people who can't understand the plight of the LGBT community are bad. People who won't listen to reason are bad. People getting hysterical and overreacting are bad. Thank the chest hair for the brilliant troopers who fight for sanity in there. Cookies and gold stars for all of them.
