While we continue to celebrate, does anyone have any game suggestions? preferably stuff you can get on steam? I just got a new laptop that finally is capable of playing games and I want to test it out.

I know it's kind of the obvious choice. But Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim with mods are pretty incredible, if you like them at all it's worth a shot.

I do love them, and I have yet to be able to play them on PC or use mods so that's super tempting, thanks for reminding me.   I would just need to learn how to use mods... but I'm sure I'm smarter now than back in the oldschool sims days where instead of getting new hairstyles I just totally crashed my game.

I've spent way to many hours the last week playing Reus, and now I hate humanity xD Magicka is great if you want a good laugh and it's even funnier when you play with your friends.

The first one is an indie strategy game, you control four giants who have different abilities to change and shape the world. Humans settle and work on projects, at first they demand very little but then they grow in complexity. And if they have too much growth, they become greedy. They wage war against each other and sometimes against the giants. It's fun, it look so simple at first and then after a couple of hours you realize how complex it is. And all of a sudden you've spent hours playing the damn thing xD

 

The second one is just FUN! The controls are clunky at first, but once you get used to them it's fine. You play as a warlock with access to different elements. By combining the elements you create different spells. And you're thrown into a world full of pop culture references and silliness!

I suppose Cher, since you wanted steam games: You could always praise GabeN and play Portal 1 and 2 over and over again!

Oh man, its super late here and that just totally threw me into a giggle fit delirium. x'D I've only played most of portal 1 (I'm stuck on the VERY last part) and haven't touched 2 yet, but I'm sure it's just as great (and sometimes frustrating) lol

I love Portal! The first game is basically perfect, but the second one has more feels. I love them so much! And Stephen Merchant is brilliant as Wheatley xD

Don't go in the romance threads, *especially* the new pinned one. Otherwise, it seems pretty cooled down everywhere else.

I think it's calmed down a bit. As Cher said, avoid the pinned romance thread

I think it's funny that the first other safe haven I found today was the Solas thread. Most threads were blowing up.

We already had our explosion. Now we're just a radioactive wasteland full of supermutants and ghouls.

It was just some impolite and off topic behavior going on in a companion thread. Nothing horrible, but enough to tick me off. 

 

It feels so nice to have a safe haven haha
