I've been searching for an answer but haven't found it: What happened to Varric's earrings?

Yes, I know many others have asked. To me, the earrings are as integral to Varric's character as Bianca. I am sincerely hoping that their lack is a temporary oversight. Varric has such an iconic look . . . it's like you're taking away part of his armor.

I am so super excited about this game, I'm so glad the LI's have finally all been revealed (with the fallout I expected and is pretty horrible to watch) and now I can think about other things, like interactive banter, I'm sure I read somewhere that was a thing! I'm going to mix up my team so much cos I love banter. And decorating my castle? That's just awesome! There's like two and a half months to go, and after a two year wait that's practically nothing!
I have no idea what kind of Inquisitor to play as first though, so much choice, it's almost overwhelming!!!

In some screens he has them, in others he doesn't.

 

I think maybe the earrings show up if you put something in his helmet slot. Just a guess.

My human will still be an artificer except I might change her into an archer . When I read the background (privileged life) I thought of Green Arrow.I imagined her as the cheeky rebel of the family. Pulling pranks on people, exploding areas of her estate with her inventions and gadgets. She would feel stifled when all she wanted to do is go out and explore the world. I'm torn whether or not to pair her up with Cullen or Blackwall, it's so difficult!

What speciality is everyone going for? I wanna be an Artificer.

 

See I love playing a warrior and hitting things (which is funny because that's the exact opposite of what I'm like in real life. i would totally be a white mage) but looking over the warrior specializations, I'm not impressed. there's nothing new or as impressive as "tempest". Also I'm eyeing the Bull (or even blackwall) as a potential romance for Vollna so maybe I'll go rogue to keep him around more. BUT THEN Sera is an option too so maybe I should stick with the warrior thing in case Vollna falls for her?

 

@_@ if i'm a rogue I might have to do tempest because it sounds cool.

I haven't decided yet, I need more info on necromancer and rift mage. I don't think I'll go knight enchanter, seems to tanky. I prefer to stay in the back and throw my spells from a safe distance  

 

I think I'll go artificer on my Cadash run. Seems like fun!
