*hugs Yin and Clockwork* :'c I know quite a few people had a feeling Cullen would be gated, but its still a shame. I would have liked romancing him with a qunari mage.

I may at a later date make her as planned and romance her to Iron Bull.  That could be fun, I just thought Cassandra tied more strongly to the main plot.

Solas, though, I can completely believe it's not that he's only into elfwomen, it's just something about the female elfquisitor.  I'd love it if there were racially-specific content and the elfquisitor's had something to do with the fade.  Or maybe he's a Dalish groupie.

Yeah, I agree with you on that. I think perhaps Solas initially isn't really interested in romance since he's older and a loner, but something specific about the Dalish quizzy sweeps him. It will be cool seeing exactly what happens.

I feel better now seeing that I'm not the only one that'll have Cullen pretty far down on their list. I think Cullen, Solas, and Cassandra are at the bottom of my list now with Blackwall, Iron Bull and Dorian at the top I still need to find a replacement for Tabatha Cadash though since both of her choices got shot down and it feels wrong not to have her with a romance.

I think Blackwall and Dorian will be my first two playthroughs. After that I'll just pick my LI on a whim really.

 

Dorian would be my number one- BUT I wanna have my 1st playthrough be my badass Vollna lady!Cadash. so Dorian is number 2. I'm gonna play it by ear for my 1st one.

Maybe but the two I had this PC pictured with was Varric and Vivienne. I have nothing against Sera in fact I have a lovely qunari mage planned just for her

Stuff like this is why I plan on running multiple games at once.  How do I want to see the world unfold. as a qunari in a single "perfect" worldstate, romancing the seeker?  As an elf and find out what makes Solas so interesting in the elfquisitor?  In a worldstate where Alistair isn't king?  In a worldstate where the warden took the throne and Hawke became viscount?  As a dwarf?

 

I hope they find a way to give us more than five slots.  I got at least four planned and still don't have all decisions accounted for.

I have no clue if any of my old PC files will import into the Keep (they don't even show up on my game anymore, i had a harddrive crash on my old one), so I'm hoping to make a couple world states on here before it comes out of I can make the time for it. The only ones I really have on my xbox version are a Dalish and City elf. I love 'em both, but my queen Cousland and dwarf noble were two of my favorite files ever. xD; Ugh, they had to be the ones I lost.

 

I also want to make a file where I do stuff I've never had the guts to do before. I definitely want one where I romance Zev and recruit Loghain. If you harden Alistair and marry him to Anora, does he not leave in a ragequit when you recruit Loghain? 'cuz I really don't want him to! XD

 

I think that's the only way to not have Alistair killed or exiled xD So that's what I'm going for. I was going to romance him at first, but I don't want the drama. I am going to kind of betray him after all

My goal is to have as many decisions as possible across as many plays as I can do.  Since it's not going to take a hundred hours per worldstate to do so, I may as well see everything.

You can search by meaning.  Always good for naming a character.  Right now, only Saarebas has a name.  Some of my wardens were named after lore characters, like a city elf named after Garahel, the last to slay an archedemon before Alistair/warden/Loghain.  Calenhad was popular for some human nobles.

That's right, she needs an inquisitor, too.  The keep cannot come out soon enough.  So glad they allowed for naming files, going to name them all things like "qunarimagexcass" and "dalishmagexsolas."

I assumed Solas was hundreds of years old because he found out how to live as long as past elves did. That's why his romance is elf only, something about being apart from other elves and leaving the old ways behind made elves age like humans.

You can't import your save files into the Keep anyway.

 

Yes, if you harden Alistair and marry him to Anora, you can recruit Loghain without Alistair becoming a drunk. He still leaves the party and gets mad at you, though. I think he forgives you if Loghain does the sacrifice. Maybe he forgives you in Awakening anyway? Not so sure there.

The wiki says early to mid-forties.  Could be when he quit aging or what he tells people.

 

The notion of an actual ancient, Arlathan elf and not a pretender like Zathrian sounds need.  Not sure if it's Solas, but maybe.

I think he forgives you anyway, but he breaks up with you.  Don't know if there's a way to rekindle it. 

 

My Dalish lady showed mercy to Loghain.  It wasn't pretty:

 

Dalish: I just want to make sure this won't affect us...

Alistiar: Us?  There is no "us."

 

When he sees her in Awakening, it's the same dialog he gives a male warden, friendly, but not that of romantic partners. 

 

Also, I had a human noble romance him and become his queen, and another romance Zevran and become Alistair's queen.  The dialog in Awakening is different, a but more...distant if they got married without being romanced.  Like he's saying it because it's expected.

Yeah, I was talking in terms of friendship, not romance. Interesting about the Awakening dialogue - I've planned to marry Alistair to my Cousland on a Zevran romance, but haven't got to it yet *kicks broken laptop*
