It's early here too, but I'm happy because my Internet finally came back. I hate being locked out. So here's a Varric banter! (continued from one I posted here earlier where Cassandra accidentally let the Inquisitor know she has the hots for him)

 

Varric: I admit the delivery was not ideal, but at least the ice is broken

Howdy folks!  It's the weekend, which means obsessively keeping up with threads!  Woo!

 

(and, as point of interest, being completely unable to spell anything longer than three letters in length right first time, dammit.  I think I need some coffee)

 

I always played a snarky Hawke, too. 

 

Snarky is the only Hawke that exists.  The others are fictional!

 

Cullen is the only romance I won't be doing, I just find him completely uninteresting. 

 

When they first announced Cullen was in DAI, I had to look him up on the wiki to find out who he was.  I played both of the previous game so I think that makes clear how much of an impact he made on me.

 

Mind you, this is the first time we'll really get the chance to actually know  him (and not just that  way!) so, like all the other advisers and the companions, we'll see what I think when I interact with them in the game.

Without going into too many personal details, one of my family members ended up in the hospital for most of the summer off and on, complete with a lot of emergency surgeries.  It went on from about late July until about two weeks ago.  They're fine now, but that's the main reason for my absence.

 

As far as the recent "Romancegate" announcement, I was rather upset at first (and a little surprised, such as with Cullen,) although personal stress didn't help.  Now I'm largely over it, and I'm glad that at least there will be another dwarf for my Lady Cadash to talk to and befriend.  Even if he's unavailable as a romance, it's still Varric, after all.

Yeah the Romancegate hit some harder than others, though most have gotten used to it (don't venture into the romance threads!). Varric will always be the bestest friend.

To be fair, there are a lot of Swedes that play.  However, I do get your point.  If they were to release the information, it would have been better served doing so across multiple languages.  Nothing much that can be done about now, though.

 

Oh, and sorta on topic (since I'm still playing on a dwarven archer,) any new info about class specs yet?

Oh trust me I know, I'm Swedish! But most of us don't read Swedish IGN, if we read IGN we go to the american or UK site. Maybe that's just me, but I prefer to not have things translated. It doesn't matter how good the translation is, you always lose something in the process!

 

Not a lot of new info about that, Artificer seem fun! They did however release the Inquisitor's backstories if you haven't read them.

The news releases for Inquisition has been all over the place, hasn't it? Good thing we have this central hub here where all the news gets gathered.
