Guys I'm in a bit of a pickle. And that pickle is whether I romance Alistair or Zevran in my canon DA:O playthrough.
I've got two scenarios I want to choose from:
1. I romance Alistair. He remains a Grey Warden with me, Loghain gets executed, Alistair does the ritual, Anora is on the throne alone and in the end the City Elves are kinda screwed during their rebellion and there's possibly an upcoming demon baby.
2. I romance Zevran. Alistair marries Anora, Loghain is spared and redeems himself by killing the Archdemon or does the ritual (not sure on this yet), Anora and Alistair rule together, everyone is pretty happy and there might/might not be a demon baby.
Naturally number 2 sounds more ideal but number 1 is a little more... interesting? I definitely imagine that whoever is on the throne will have a bigger impact in DA:I. What do you guys think? (edit: I like both guys, so there's no favorite romance xP)
Of course I can do both in the end but I'd like to go with one of them for now.

My first canon will have a queen warden with a king Alistair and a demon baby...by Alistair. I can't wait for the drama! xD But I am really, really curious about what will be different when the DR is denied, if there will be any difference at all, that is. I hope there is, because I'm considering making a rejected DR file. My very first Origins playthrough had this, but it's lost now unfortunately. I know for sure I want both a worldstate to use with king Alistair and one with warden Alistair and a queen Anora.
Sorry that didn't answer your question at all haha. But if I had to vote, I would say number 2 because that's not what I'll be going for and I'll be curious to hear about any differences.

You could do one of my favs, romance Zevran as Lady Cousland, then marry Alistair. I headcanon she makes Zevran the head of her security. Nobody getting near the queen.
Any idea when the keep is going to be released, based on game release and the Monday's beta invites?

Nice mix.
Zevran is hit or miss for me, depending upon the Warden, but that sounds like a nice case of having her cake and eating it too.

I think I'm.... kinda finished. It's longer than I expected and went around the place a bit. Rollercoaster. Originally it was sort of a prologue piece but since I thought of doing it in the Varric thread it seemed wrong to leave him out! I'll, um, post it when I have the courage ![]()

Both are interesting. Is your Warden a city elf? In that case, I think you should put Alistair on the throne, alone or not.

Something like that
Though tbh I think it's more a question about Moffat vs RTD. The Doctor is usually fine, I love all of them. It's more about the plots and companions.

I liked Rose.
She seems to have a large amount of both lovers and haters.
There actually haven't been any companions I've actively disliked so far (I despise River Song, but she's not really a companion)... but my least favorite would probably be Amy/Rory. Even though ironically... my favorite episode ever had Amy in it, and 11, who wasn't my favorite either. xD
