I have a feeling Sera might be the one who would have the most opposition to stuff like that, since she's apparently all for the common folk without a voice. I hope I can just be BFFs with everyone somehow... xD

 

Yeah I thought about that too and deiced I had to make some changes to my qunari for her then I can easily put that attitude it the one elf playthrough I'm doing  

I agree with that hope! I really want to be friends with everyone and since gifts don't seem to be a thing as far as I know I just got to hope I can keep everyone as my buddy. I hate loosing companions for any reason.

It seems to me that Varric will be harder to befriend this time around. That thing about the village seems to indicate colder, ruthless or practical Inquisitors might not get on his good side.

My first games for DAO and DA2 my PCs were friends with everyone - in DA2 mostly because I didn't understand rivalry wasn't bad. For DAI I told myself I'll only friend those that make sense for my character and let the rest to check their friendship on future games. My Inquisitor won't be super unlikeable, but he will have a temper and strong opinions, so I'm expecting some tension.

I wonder if we have an opportunity to talk with Varric about events in Kirkwall. Can we ask him to tell us about Hawke?  

Can we develop a crush on Hawke? (Cass, we can organize a club!)

I think, depending on our stance in Mage-Templar conflict, Varric will have something to say and may compare our actions to Hawke's. Do we stand with the mages, while Hawke supported Templars? Was Hawke a non-mage pro-mage, while Inquisitor is a mage supporting the Templars?

Glad you liked it.  It just kind of came out as it went, no real plan - except for the ending!  Some parts just flowed, others took more work to get right.  It also fleshes out the tentative background I have in mind for that Inquisitrix, and her description.

I... wouldn't mind the Kirkwall look.  Although I would prefer to establish a décor that says my Inquisition isn't specifically aligned to any particular group while showing they also mean business.  I could see Tevinter spikes playing a bit part in that... if only because they look quite qunari as well!

I wonder if Bioware will someday stop teasing the fans with all these characters spanning across multiple games that are awesome, but never to be romanced (looking at you too Joker). It would've been nice to have a dwarf male as a romance option, since we haven't seen one before

I'm really struggling with my Adaar's looks. I hope they'll bring out a video of customization soon because I really want to know what the Qunari skin colors and tattoo colors are. xP

Damn this is going to be a tough game.

EDIT: because, you know, I've always had my warden and hawke basically be everyone's friend (except like Sebastian or Orghen... Even then Orghen is easy if you hoard liquor like a nut)

I really can't wait for this game to be in my hands because I want to know from the game's perspective if it's going to be possible for my Cadash to not be ruthless, logically. Considering she's been raised by this ruthless crime family. I mean it makes sense now but what about in game?

Hope it all works out for you Yin. Drawing our Quizzies sounds fun, I've tried to draw my Adaar countless times but can never seem to get it right in looks and style areas. 

I sometimes think I've got it spot on  and something changes in her character or looks and it seems like she has a life of her own.
