What? You don't want more of the "I AM A MONSTER, I WILL BREAK YOUR HEART!" or the "Ooops, you make me feel something so I'm gonna run away now." ?

But... that's what women like, right?!

Gotta give Anders credit for being honest

Ugh, both.  I'm good there.  If I want that, I can play DA2 anytime I wish.  ;)

True enough.   :P

I'm so glad that book series is losing it's steam after Stephanie Meyer pitched a fit.

Which fit? She pitched like 50 fits. ;)

She pitched fits? Oooh, curious. I've never followed anything regarding Twilight... I actually avoided it like the plague (it was at it's prime when I was in high school so that's what it felt like... especially since I went to an all-girls school)  -_-

Seriously, if I can't play as an emotionally bland Mary Sue with severe "my-boyfriend-is-my-life" issues then PREORDER CANCELLED!

This was after the chapters what was going to be her latest book got leaked about 3 or so years ago.  She found out, then decided that she was done because it was an insanely huge leak of about 12 chapters.  She "didn't feel like starting over," exploded at all of her fans, not just the ones that did the leak and told them she was done writing for good.

If she had been a writer that was at least decent (it isn't just the story, the writing itself is bad,) then I would feel a little bad for her.  As it is, she got her fame and money.  She can quit pretending that the Unseelie Court is the same as vampires, and good riddance.

My younger sister was obsessed and made the whole family watch the films. Still, it was worth the torment for the awesome fight scene in the last one. Oh, the fan tears...

I was kinda forced to watch the first film, but luckily it seems to have all faded from my memory by this point. If you're gonna get me into a romance, it better at least be a good one. It's not really my genre unless it has lots of epic and awesome and less... creepy.

Never read the books but I've seen all the movies. I'm a huge fan of unintentional comedies. There's this one evil vampire in it played by Michael Sheen and he just kills me every time he's on screen. There's a scene in the last move where he does this weird laugh and I swear the first time I saw it I laughed myself to tears.

He is, without a doubt, the single best thing about that stupid franchise. It's like watching Jeremy Irons in the Dungeons & Dragons movie. Just pure hammy brilliance!

Wow @ the romance thread.  There is some good points on both sides, but even I find it too heated in there at the moment.

I really wish they would stop the topic to be honest. It contributes nothing that we don't already know.

Thanks for the warning. I was just thinking about ducking my head back in.

Well, at least no one is arguing that Josie might be a secret transgender today... But yeah, that discussion is toxic.

I'd recommend skimming so you know what's up, but I wouldn't post in there much at the moment.  I'm glad Allan was the one that started the thread, so he can close it down for a cleanup without getting it locked for good.  When someone calls transgendered people "it" and there is a transwoman in the thread, you know it's gonna get gnarly.

I was in the thread when someone just randomly asked that out of nowhere.   It kinda ran wild for a bit I noticed.

The Solas thread should be a blast though, they just announced the VA.

Good idea at this point.  They'll find something else to talk about soon enough.  I frankly don't know enough on the subject of trans* to comment too much, and I really can see where some folks are coming from.  If I find I'm in the middle like this, I just hunker down in a safe thread and lurk until the storm passes.

Seriously? I'd like to have a trans companion on the team, but asking about "secret transgenders"?

Huh, I guess I need to watch Torchwood.  I never heard of Solas' VA before.  For the curious, this is Solas' VA:

I have been out of the loop for a bit, any new news (if anything)?

Hopefully good news for our lovable dwarf...
