Well first off books: I should get this list out of the way because its probably going to be the longest of them.

Anime/Manga: Well here is what i have been watching/reading for the most part although...a bit of it may be extreme to some folks.
1. Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 (The original Mecha, the grand daddy of the mobile suit franchise)
2. Hellsing (I just finished a rewatch of this actually)
3. Ghost in the Shell
4. Cowboy Bebop
5. Outlaw Star
6. Trigun
7. Berserk
8. Yu Yu Hakusho
9. Black Lagoon
Got to warn you though, several of those contain intense violence, gore and alike.
So if you are easily perturbed by death and blood and such, there are a few i wouldn't recommend.
The same goes for offensive imagery and subject matter: If Rape, Swastika's and alike are going to prevent you from enjoying something, again there are a few i wouldn't recommend.
That said, everything i listed, i have personally enjoyed greatly.
Thanks, I'll look them up. I tend not to let anything offensive turn me off from a movie, show or book, as long as it has a good plot, characters and character development I'll enjoy it.

Watch the OVA's, they actually follow the source material, in this case the manga, the TV series does not and subsequent isn't worth much.

2nd female vashoth warrior for Sera
3rd male vashoth rogue for Dorian
...and if Varric says anything negative about a romace with Iron Bull I'll promptly yell at him explaining it is all his fault. >_>

Heya! our runs are really close! My first is also a female mage (but human) for IB. And I'm also doing a qunari for Sera and Dorian! 
but they will be a mage and warrior (or rogue haven't completely decided) respectively.
Ha. Sera and a qunari seems to be pretty popular. I've finally settled on a qunari warrior for her - first I thought elf but discarded it after I learned she hated the wilderness. Then I thought up a human warrior but that character ended up getting a life of her own as a very serious templar who Sera will probably not even want to friend. That qunari will probably gonna be my 3rd or 4th game.
I wish they gave us more tidbits on Varric. I can't help but wonder how he might get along with my Inquisitors but we don't have much to go on about his current state.

That does sound great, but my dwarven lady will climb the wall instead. And I'm really excited to play qunaris, especially qunari women, but it might end up being my 3rd game... Maybe 2nd - I'll see how it goes. First one is too set in stone by now (male rogue elf).

That makes sense! I think elf/Bull seems so adorable! the only reason I'm not doing it is because I have my elf playthrough dedicated to Solas now thanks to his gating. XD
Haha I always had multiple playthroughs in DA, but only one femshep in ME. xD I am tempted to make a new Shepard sometimes though... maybe a renegade, but sometimes renegade crosses the line from 'badass' to 'evil bastard' to me, so I don't know if I have what it takes to actually pull it off without cringing at the screen haha.... heck, I still feel guilty for that one time you can threaten Mordin.
My dwarf is climbing the wall as well, but I think dwarf/Sera is equally as awesome sounding! It's just that I'm really excited to play a qunari so I can't wait any longer than my 2nd play... same with Sera. So that combination is what will result from it.

He was by far my favorite companion gameplay and story wise. He's a good character overall, he's funny and witty. But also extremely OP. As a rogue Varric wields Bianca and follows the archery tree. I remembered maxing out his Cunning first before Dexterity and his crits are INSANE. Takes down most enemy apart from bosses with 1/2 normal attacks. Add the skills from his Marksman tree and Varric is an unstoppable killing machine. I hope he plays similarly like this as well in DA I

If it makes you feel better, there's only 1 character who literally has done it all. All the DLC, Awakening, etc. The rest is an attempt but never got to the finish line because it's a long game. o.o I'm sure the same will happen in DAI.
It was a couple of nights ago but I had a dream where DAI was finally out and everyone was on the forums posting their awesome Inquisitors and we were all posing next to a jar of bees. o.o
Next month we'll FINALLY be able to say "next month"...
And the week after you'll be able to say 'only 5 weeks!' and the week after that 'only 4 weeks!' and the week after that 'only 3 weeks!' and the week after that 'only 2 weeks!' and the week after that 'next week!' and the week after that...
