I'm sure all of you remember that Varric's book 'Hard in Hightown' got a cheap knockoff sequel. Varric was not happy about this. In fact, he hunted down all copies he could and burned them (or something).

 

I have a wonder: do you think he would object to a parody of his work called 'High in Hardtown'?

For some reason I'm a bit fuzzy on if I spared Bartrand or not... I know I always had Anders temporarily bring him back, so that leads me to think I did. And I also gave Varric the shard because I love him and didn't want him to hate me or yell at me

 

I'll use the Keep to create an import where I didn't give it to him. That way I can still do it without the heartache. XD

Local Origin keeps telling me November 18, but local distribution says November 20, so I don't even know if Origin is wrong or if they just don't care about releasing at the same time as the physical game here /sigh

It's from our artistic media distribution regulations, new media releases on Thursdays (books, albums, movies, games) except for very rare global-release exceptions. The version on Origin is digital, so it's not subjected to the same regulations as physical media. If you get the game on Origin, you'll be able to play your digital copy on the 18th, if you're getting a physical disk, you have to wait until release on the 20th.
