I spend the day paying money to work so one day I can spend the day working for money to pay off the money I spent working so I could work... or something like that.

He actually said it...and you are an MGS fan, interesting very interesting.
You are an interesting person, just a fan of MGS 3? Perhaps the entire saga?

Entire saga, fo' sho! MGS3 might be my favorite one though... it changes a lot. I love them all. I can't decide. Except 2. Well, I like 2, but I have a hard time playing it because it gives me anxiety because bombs and that water part. *shudders* and Raiden. Ugh. Raiden.... ugh.

For me it's a toss up between one and two.
Peace Walker is also excellent though, i am a hardcore MG/MGS fan, i beat metal gear and metal gear two back in the day and have more or less played every game besides both of those non canon "acid" games.
Though to be honest the prequel games only work due to the sheer awesomeness that is Big Boss though.

I adore Peace Walker! It would be in my top three. The Boss is just my favorite character and 3 was the first one I played. I've unfortunately never gotten the chance to play MG or MG2. They were before my time and I'm not sure what platform they were even for. :c
Big Boss is indeed awesome though. I went into the series thinking it wouldn't be my thing but how great the characters and story were got me obsessed pretty fast.

Very much so, it has been pre-ordered with the speed of light. xD I have a feeling it will make me cry. But that won't be anything new for me from those games. It's going to look so pretty. *-* Looking forward to it just as much as I am DAI.

I'm quite interested in the evolution of Big Boss from the commanding officer of MSF to the Dictator of Outerheaven and commander of the most powerful PMC organization in history.
How he changed from his early days as an operative in his days as a FOX operative under the CIA until his dismissal after San Hieronymo and his founding of Outerheaven, how he joined and left the Patriots, founded MSF and eventually moved past it.
He has been growing and changing throughout all the games, its been an experience to see how he evolved and twisted towards the figure in MGS lore known as the "greatest warrior of the 20th century"
For an example when he met a young Frank Jaeger otherwise known as Gray Fox or Null, he despised the practice of exposing children to war, how it ripped them away from normality, and yet he would later go on to use Child Soldiers himself.

The character development is phenomenal. I really think Kojima is a master storyteller. Though it's going to be hard for me to see him turn into a colder person. I've braced myself for it though. The ending of GZ was pretty heartbreaking. Oh how I love to torture myself emotionally. xD

Yep I did indeed. A bit shorter than I expected, but I still enjoyed it. It was a good teaser kinda thing to get a feel of what to expect for 5.

Coolio good on you for supporting the series.
That said, i don't get quite what you said earlier.
A Colder person? What do you mean by that?

He's going to become more set on vengeance and with that become more morally ambiguous, ie using child soldiers when before that he wouldn't have ever done such a thing. Kidnapping, torturing, ect. Not that I will hate it, it will be very interesting I'm sure, but... yeah. :c

You don't build a nation of soldiers through happy thoughts and easter bunnies ![]()
But on a more serious note: He's changing and that's obvious.

The nightmares? They never go away, Snake. Once you've been on the battlefield, tasted the exhilaration, the tension... it all becomes part of you. Once you've awakened the warrior within... it never sleeps again. You crave ever bigger tensions, ever bigger thrills. As a mercenary, I'd think you would have realized that by now. You care nothing for power, or money, or even sex. The only thing that satisfies your cravings is war! All I've done is give you a place for it. I've given you a reason to live.-Big Boss to Solid Snake in Zanzibar land
Does that sound like Snake from MGS 3?
