Hey, at least they aren't running around with horned helmets. That's something. But yeah, I could only watch the first episode. LMAO at native english speakers who attempts a "genuine" nordic accent xD

Actually, it's not too bad.  If it piques your interest, you go find out that Lagertha was mentioned in recorded accounts, and how, and who Ragnar was, and that some things are going to be made up to make them more dramatic.  I might borrow some of her features for my Adaar.  Nothing wrong with having a character concept.

Not at all.  The Celtic chieftain whose name starts with a B who supposedly took poison to avoid being taken by the Romans (I will never learn to spell it and stopped trying) would make a pretty cool inspiration for a female warrior as well.

In truth, Steven's a fair bit better at this VO malarkey than I am, but then the guy's had a fair bit of experience and has his own vo recording booth in his bedroom (!), whereas all I do is read to my kids, haha!

 

Am not posting anywhere much at the mo (horribly busy with work, also pregnant yay! But morning sick all day yuck!), but didn't want to read and run after seeing your lovely post.
