God, I know it's out of the question but Varric would make the perfect romance DLC to satisfy all those Dwarf and Qunari [straight] women who felt short-changed by the race-gating. I mean sure, you could give him to Humans and Elves too, but since they got Cullen (and he mentions he's not into humans, although I'm sure a lady Inquisitor could make him see the error of his judgement ), this would even things out a bit. If.. err.. you totally ignore the fact that it's adding another straight female romance.. heh.

 

Still, it would be glorious, really. And now I'll shut up and stop breaking people's hearts.

Maybe if they add extra romances for the expanion pack.

Eh maybe, but Laidaiw pretty much shot down DLC until the game launches, not to mention when it came to Leliana he all but flatly denied it.

I assume you noticed my similar suggestion on the "Leliana as a Romance" thread then   I'm not exactly holding out hope, but I wouldn't be unhappy if she was included in an expansion as a romance. It's been 10 years after all.

 

On topic, uh, yeah, Varric's awesome. I've not been here long enough to know what's going on at the moment, so that's all I got.

I thought so too, but they're saying Varric isn't romancable for story reasons, and I assume they aren't going with "He has Bianca the Crossbow already" as that story reason as that's mostly a joke. Mostly.

So I'm thinking we'll see her and either they end up together or she dies and he needs the rest of the game to mourn her.

And that's when the inquisitor pounces.

She's got a lot to live up to. Kinda reminds me of the How I Met Your Mother mom reveal. And I was very surprised by just how much I liked the mom. So hopefully if Bianca turns up, i'll be just as happily surprised?

So my husband asked me why I was still shipping one of my Quizzies with Varric while I broke off any relationship ideas with Cullen and Solas. I guess Varric's reasoning seems more nice (loyalty to one person) and has the possibility of getting closure in the way of finally breaking it off (okay, that's just my guilty pleasure) while Cullen and Solas are meanies to Dwarves and Qunari. Meanies I tell you!

 

Nah I kid. Varric is just too dang sexy.
