I'm going to make one of each race immediately. 

I do this in every single game I play ever... I can't help it....

When the game finally releases, I'll be sustaining myself on caffeine and feels. I'm not going to leave the apartment unless I run out of coffee. If ME3 taught me anything, it's the fact that I'm not going to get much food or sleep until I've completed my first playthrough. I only slept 4 hours after completing Rannoch, and then I went back and completed the game. xD

I remember being so angry at that damn thing. And then I had to do the whole thing over again because I accidentally killed the Quarian race. I was so tired I did the missions in the wrong order. Instead of the consensus mission I picked the priority mission, I felt so stupid xD

Eventually I'll make at least one of every gender/race. Going to attempt to pleasantly surprise myself in the character creation each time though. >.>

That being said, I'm playing a male Kossith on my first go. Just debating which one... help?

Kata Adaar - Very emotional, in an empathetic way especially. He will be feeding off of everyone's emotions in his party, and thus will have the most emotional group. Iron Bull, Sera, and the other will swap out between Varric and Dorian probably. Everyone else seems too in control with themselves for him. So in situations where Iron Bull get louder and angrier over everyone else's voice then Kata will be fueled by that fire. Whoever is more affected by the situation he will mimic their feelings.
Kata is a mage, a Necromancer. He is asexual and I'm not "planning" a romance for him completely. I'm hoping flirtation is available even if people aren't necessarily available for him. That being said, it is currently between Iron Bull and Sera because they seem the most emotional... however, Cassandra and Vivienne seem as if they are more in control of their emotions so he may fall for on of them instead.
I know both Vivienne and Sera are unavailable to him, but unrequited love is always amazing for storytelling.
If Iron Bull or Cassandra win him over then he will not have sexual relations with them. If that breaks it off then so be it.
He also may not fall for anyone, in that case I will definitely have no problem with that.



The other option:
Hatch Adaar - Hatch is... unique. Ignoring the factor that he will be in DA:I, he was initially a "crack-game" in Skyrim. He had 5 followers in Skyrim and 5 of the companions will be taking on their roles. Iron Bull, Dorian, Cullen, Cole, and Cassandra/Blackwall (It really depends on how responsible Blackwall ends up being.) He was a merchant and an alchemist who dual wielded hatchet's(here's hoping to weapons similar to Fiona and Bards Honor).
He played the "stupid innocent" card but was nearing the edge of being a psychopath. His followers were his muscle and tact in close combat unless he was sneaking. They also all wore very fancy, almost matching outfits. >.>
Also, he stole pies and wine... not that that can be done in DA:I, but still.
Hatch is a dual wielding rogue, a Tempest. Romance wise, he will go after Iron Bull or Cassandra/Blackwall (even though Blackwall is unavailable).

So... yeah. Maybe opinions please? I'm really stuck between them :/

 

Those are two interesting and startlingly different options.  Kata sounds the most complex of the two and so could be more intriguing to play.

I like the both, but I think I like the sound of Kata a bit more because I like the idea of an emotional qunari, mine will be emotional as well.

Oh i was also able to factor him having an inborn intense loathing of all things Qunari what with him coming from the Free Marches.

 

I could go on obviously but that's the broad strokes.

Ooooh that'll be interesting. Might be kinda similar to Weeke's assquisitor. XD Maybe not as mean though, because I think he's purposely trying to be as mean as possible lol.

Urgh, same here. The only way for me to play as evil or just an ass is to turn it up to comedic proportions...
