There's always Assassin's Creed 3 and 4 for my gun powder related needs. They did a great job with it.

Don't play AC for various reasons, haven't played any of the games since two anyway.

My fantasies involve Gatlock being enriched to act as a primer for a lyrium composite mixture to power an engine that is attached to several hundred kilograms of Gatlock.

Aka a medieval missile system.

The Chinese and a few other cultures in the Middle East had primitive rocketry employed, I am thinking why not expand upon the concept, make what we today would recognize as a missile, and make it using in universe elements.

Spoiler

The second bit of the fantasy involves Gatlock being turned upon its very inventors in the destruction of their Homeland, Sehron and Par Vollen burn in the hellfire of war brought to them by their own creation.

Glorious, Honestly Bioware should offer me a storyboard writing job, i would be excellent at it.

What, you didn't like Ezio's magic renaissance gun in AC2?

It didn't look like a gun! So it doesn't count! *sulk* :P

I want to play a cold, insensitive character eventually... but I know there will always be certain things I just CAN'T do. Dx

Spoiler

I want my Adaar Inquisitrix to be something of a pragmatist, at least to begin with.  I don't know how long I'll be able to resist being good, though!

They put up Cole! now we have everyone!

Spoiler

I think he looks creepy awesome.   He might have to be my creepy necromancer's best friend. That is if he ends up liking her. XD

Scabbards.  Scabbards.

I'm really glad they made him look amazing, I get fecked off when people are so negative and aggressive about him...

Me too, I just want to mother him. He's such an adorable little killer, I'm not gonna let anyone hurt him in game.

See, that's a weird attitude.  To me, anyway.  He gets the benefit of the doubt like all the others we haven't met yet, but... the mothering thing he seems to attract is odd.  *shrugs*

Guns of Icarus is fun, if you like shooters...

I do, but that never appealed to me :(

Yeah, I don't get it either. But then again, I haven't read the book yet.

I suppose it comes from reading Asunder, people feel differently about him.  I can't help but feel sympathy for him.

What can I say? When reading Asunder, all I could think about was how much I wanted to give him a hug and tell him that everything is going to be ok. He's so innocent and childlike while creepy and dangerous. It's a strange combination, I totally get why some don't like him. :P

How the heck didn't he set his sleeve on fire with this thing? Or burn himself even?

That. And it was one of the stupider weapons in that game. I just couldn't understand why they felt the need to include it, throwing knives were so much better.

Video Game Mechanics obviously!

Its why Guns never jam or misfire despite being in humid rain forests or frozen tundra!

I assumed it was a book thing. Thanks for the reply. I'm pretty indifferent to him at the moment - I haven't read the book and don't know enough to have an opinion.

I've read Asunder  and I still don't get it.  I get that he's an interesting character, and dangerous and tragic and inexplicable and mysterious, I'm just not... delusional.  Meant in the nicest possible way :P  I mean some are reeaaallly freaky mad about him.

I love the hidden blades! They're the best thing about AC, sneaking up to two guards and casually stabbing them both will never stop being entertaining. And that made me sound like a psycho xD

o.o There should be no need for sneaking into blade range!

It's called wait for a dramatic story moment to unfold and then casual walk up beside the protagonist and then shoot them through the skull.

And that's why the Captain is awesome, He does that.

Haha, that's ok! But like I said, I think it's the fact that he's so childlike. It makes me feel a bit protective. But judging by what happened at the end of the book, I think he'll be darker in game. I'm looking forward to meeting him :P

You wouldn't do well in a profession where killing anything is required.
