Be honest, Varricmancers: how many of you will not use the Carta armor because it hides Varric's chest hair?

The Inquisitor in the CC demo was sporting some impressive golden armor, at least on the arms. I wonder...

Ahhhhhhh! This looks like just the most fun, geez! I have long since abandoned tempering my expectations with restraint and now am just frothing at the mouth for this game, ha! Since we can upgrade the same armor patterns throughout the game, I honestly think I will prefer to keep Varric in something a litttle more breezy. Oh - but you know - this makes me think of another question!

 

Depending on how much storage space, will you change armor depending on location? For instance, since I can basically have the same armor all game, I might have one for deserts, one for swamps, one for cold mountains, etc.

 

I hadn't thought of that before but I love it! And I can be just as effective anywhere! Really love this new crafting approach, with what we're seeing =)

 

Edit: "dependong" might be appropriate for Varric but alas, not a real word, sorry

I think I remember them saying that Sera was definitely gonna be in the tavern but I'm not sure about Varric. Idk where he'd be, but i kinda hope it's not the tavern, because I know he was super attached to the hanged man lol

dude, that's what i thought too. i know qunari are kinda always serious and on point but man it was intimidating to see that one serious face the entire demo. I'm very excited to play around with this and make my bayram in-game.

Yeah it definitely was nice to see that it will be possible to make peaceful looking qunari as Vitani is planned to be quite diplomatic and friendly. You'll have to share how Bayram turns out for you once it comes out because I really love the design you've made for him so far. It's exciting because many of us in here have characters we've planned that we're really attached to and have shared with eachother through drawings and doll-makers so seeing them in their actual glory will be so much fun!

Wow... you got us put in the mabari house?  Jeez, I'm away for just a few hours...

 

 

Lovin those faces we've been seeing.  Still a little grumpy about F-Q-H, if you know what I mean.  I'd like to see more of armour crafting... did we ever find out if dyes were going to be a thing or not?  I seem to recall not but I'm not 100% sure on that.  It would put having "personal colours" out the window as everything would coloured by your material choices instead.

i know! i feel the same about everyone else's quizzies and i want updates! like i want to see everyone posting armor that they are proud of and stuff

 

aw and thank you kindly. i'm very excited to see bayram too, but i won't make him until i'm a little ways in with vollna at least. i'm looking forward to making vollna in-game because i have an idea of her in my head but you know i might just love a certain haircut and change what i thought i had planned. like when they revealed that broken noses could be a thing i thought "vollna should totally have a broken nose!" same thing with bayram actually, except he's probably gonna have broken horns >.>
