The thing that gets me is you actually have to want a game and purchase it to play it, so people should be way more worried about the freedom of kids to just switch channels to whatever they please and see violence on TV over video games which you can't play unless you actually put an effort into getting them...

And oh man, the people who think video games are just an outlet for violent people. I don't even know what to say to them to be honest, well the first thing I might say would be "you know not all video games have violence, right?" and then I would probably go on to say "you're a hypocrite if you've ever enjoyed a movie or TV show with violence." XD

I hear ya.

I mean, a game is pretty simple concept. Count how many sixes are in this line in under five seconds.

You just played a game. So what if the sixes look like people and you gotta click on them.

On the topic of violence and the connection to video games the media like to make, I thought this was a decent deconstruction of the issue. I've pointed a few people its way, they don't bother me anymore.

Just realized how useful the Warrior's Grapple ability is going to be to pull enemies off my mage.

The sound when you close the rift reminds me of something... You know in old sci-fi movies when there's an overloading reactor or something like that? That's what it reminds me of.

 

And the weapon impact sounds are very... visceral. It sounds like it hurts!

Speaking of glitches though, I was playing Awakening earlier, doing really well in a battle, just about to finish off a pesky assassin with a Critical Strike and bam... desktop.

The game has like never crashed on me... why'd have to pick now?!

I liked that purely for the hilarious gif I promise.   I know how crappy game crashes are, I've experienced plenty. :'c Sorry bout that. I've had it happen to my current file a few times, thank the maker for autosave lol.
