I liked that purely for the hilarious gif I promise. I know how crappy game crashes are, I've experienced plenty. :'c Sorry bout that. I've had it happen to my current file a few times, thank the maker for autosave lol.

Yeah. Autosaves are kinda infrequent in Awakening though. Last night I got sloppy around one of them Emissary guys, my party wiped. Figured, ah, just got here a minute ago, autosave's got my back, right?

Been quicksaving more frequently since then.

Aw I can't see the picture lol. but eeeegh that sucks. >.< play and learn I guess haha. Even though I've beaten DA2 like 4 times, I find myself hardsaving before each decision just in case I mess up my companion friendship/rivalry. XD Kinda glad that system isn't coming back tbh...

 

 

I hope there'll be a lot of potions from looting. The way I play, I'm gonna need them.

 

I think there will be the ability to stock a good amount of potions this time around for sure since they'll pretty much be our saving grace for battle. Same here though, I'm playing on lame-o casual (I really suck at combat when playing on PC) and still almost died against the dragon in the deep roads... >.>

The last one is sarcasm, but he seems bitter/Not liking Cassandra much. He said in another banter she's Not a very interesting subject for a story.

Oh, Varric. Why you got to be like that? Between this and blaming all Qunari for what happened in Kirkwall, it seems Varric is looking to earn a position of permanent bench warmer.

Went something like this.

I wasn't a huge fan of the Rivalry system either, it felt wrong trying to play my decisions of everyone in my party, and it was hard to read sometimes. Why did Aveline not like that? Why did Varric like that?

Kinda anticipating a sort of apex companion affection system in Inquisition. That they said you can't actually see the "score" bodes well for the organic nature of interactions. Also speaks about the volume of companion content, if their behaviour alone is indicative of their opinion of you... that's a lot of needed content.

I expect him to be somewhat bitter and I can understand... but I'm hoping that's mostly sarcasm. I mean I can get him not liking Cass much at first, she was pretty aggressive and we all know how Varric feels about aggressive decisions lol. All in all, I'm not too worried but I do expect him to be somewhat more solemn about things this time around.

The only time she treated him bad was when he tried being a wise guy. I love Varric but when I see that scene I'm like "Yeah, he deserved that." 

We already know he doesn't have a positive relationship with Bull because he is a Qunari.
