I was supposed to pair her off with Varric, but we all knew how that turned out... So now I'm thinking maybe Bull. But I'm not sure, any suggestions?

That she is. If you're going for a swashbuckler type, maybe someone like Maureen O'Hara's character from Against All Flags? Her name is Spitfire. 
It's a neat little pirate flick with Errol Flynn. If you like old action movies, it's a good one.

Mmm upon further thought i have considered the prospect of a "surface" dwarf city unlikely.
They travel to the surface with the skills they had within Dwarven society, namely smithing, merchantry and combat.
All of those professions require a society to ingrate into generate their livelihoods, thus why they tend to do so well in Human society.
They provide useful services.

Beautiful! Love the name, and I like the idea of pairing her with Bull. I still think a dwarf + Bull will just be adorable. Same for a dwarf + Blackwall, who I'm pairing my dwarf with.

I almost feel obligated to pick Bull for Astrid because of all the extra work they put into that romance to make it work! xD

I've got Ophelia Trevelyan lined up to be with Sera.
