Well by that argument Varric, Iron Bull, and Solas must all be bisexual LIs . I'd be perfectly okay with that outcome.

Josie (Bi), Cullen (S), Cassandra (S), Sera (L), Dorian (G)

 

Varric - No Qunari. IB - No Dwarves. Bisexual Viv/Solas.

 

Straight F Elf/Human - 2 Cullen and Varric

Straight F Dwarf - 2 Cullen and Varric

Straight F Qunari - 2 Bull and Cullen

Gay F Elf/Human/Dwarf/Qun - 2 Sera and Josie

 

Straight M Elf/Human/Dwarf/Qunari - 2 Cass and Josie

Gay M Elf/Human - 3- Dorian, Varric, Bull

Gay M Dwarf - 2 - Dorian and Varric

Gay M Qunari - 2 - Dorian and Bull

 

Then bisexual Vivienne or Solas would make some of those twos into threes. Mostly even. Explains race-gatedness, allows for Varric love interest. Probably still highly inaccurate.

I'll be honest, that's kind of why I'd rather Solas wasn't an LI this time around. I don't hate the pattern or anything, but I prefer some variety.

I thought it was just me.  While I hope Solas is a LI for the sake of those that want a romance, it would be nice having one elf in the party in a BW game that isn't a romance.  All three elf characters in BG2 were romancable; Zev was a romance; and then of course Merrill and Fenris.  It would be nice for a change of pace.

I have to admit, if Solas is romanceable, I'm gonna be slightly weirded out. We haven't had an elven companion in a major game that wasn't romanceable. Given the fetishistic way humans in Thedas approach elves, I have to admit I find that... maybe not the greatest thing.

Is it PG-13 or lower and relevant to Inquisition? I've been thinking of adding fanfics to the fanart OP, but I can't find any that meet the criteria.

I think that mostly works, but wouldn't guy-liking elves and humans get both Iron Bull and Varric? Or am I misreading?

I put it as T to be safe, but theres nothing bad in it... you can check it out - http://archiveofouro...g/users/slukers (or same name on ff.net). I always debate adding more stuff but don't want people to not be able to read about Varric because of filters

No, you're right! My mistake. (Unless Bull is race gated elves as well, but that creates a whole bunch of other problems. This isn't the place to go into that, though.)

Weird Question, but I've noticed some geographical lines in character interest (not exact, but interesting). I wonder what percentage of Varricmancers are European vs. North American vs Asian vs Australia/NZ vs. African (I feel like I'm missing a group)

 

I can hardly even find Dragon Age groups for South Korea, and I'm moving there, soon. Hopefully I can get more people into it!

Wow, got some emotional tears out of me because it really hits the part where you want to be there for him, want to know about him, at least more personal things because he is always there for you. And I like it how you really put it together like that... You want him to be happy...Something I can actually imagine happening in a sense, logical one at least.
