Out of all the mounts we've seen/heard about, which are you guys most looking forward to? I know we've only gotten a handful and there are going to be 30
but I'm looking forward to the war nug! I'm going to squee when I see my darling little Lottie, the war nug!
Ohhh I honestly can't even begin to choose at this point.. I liked what we saw of the red heart, war nug sounds awesome - might make that my Cadash's official mount haha. With all these other choices horses are going to seem boring to me. XD

War Nug...the answer is always War Nug
I'm waiting to see all the other mounts until I make definitive choices but so far for Kata I'm thinking the Bog Unicorn unless there happens to be some other undead mount that he might prefer >_> We shall see.
Ooooh actually the bog unicorn might fit my necromancer now that I think about it! Unless there are some other equally as cool horrific ones. XD She will be the creepiest mage ever.

It does suit Necromancer characters very well
I'm also hoping to use some... interesting crafting components to create some gnarly looking armor/robes/what-have-you for him. And a creepy staff. Can't forget the staff.
I can't wait to play Kata, he's going to be such an unknown and I have this terrible feeling that people are going to bail on him XD
Yeeees yess, I feel like we're on the same page for these inquisitors of ours! xD haha. I really want to deck out Elena in all black with some victorian gothic influence, I have no clue if it will be possible but it would be so fitting.

She'll probably disturb a few companions/advisors. She'll probably freak out Bull actually, who is her planned LI so it will be fun trying to make that work. XD

Very cool idea. :3 I like the combination of creepy on the outside, but warm and empathetic on the inside haha. It is difficult to guess who that kind of character will get along with though, true. I know Sera lives in the moment, and tries to help people, so that seems like someone an empathetic character would get along with well, but it's just a guess. Perhaps also Varric because he likes the good guys. xD

Will you select the materials for Varric's armor and weapons based on:
A- Functionality (ie stats)
B- Looks
C- Macho factor (ie Drakeskin instead of nug leather)
D- A combination of the above
Definitely D, Varric needs to be well protected, fighting fit and look cool while doing it.

It seems a lot of us are choosing to pair up our necromancer with the ever terrifying bog unicorn for the greatest impact.
I'll use the Halla for my Dalish.

Technicality Cassandra kept her word and let Varric go after all he was interrogated in 9:40 the breach doesn't happen until either in 9:42 or in 9:43 (there was no mention of the breach in the Last flight novel which runs 9:41 to 9:42).
Oh, I forgot! I was going to say, I had a weird bit of DA-related TV viewing the other day. An episode of CSI Original Recipe that not only guess-starred Brandon Keener, voice of Garrus, but also Steve Valentine, voice of Alistair! And a few weeks previously, there was an ep with Greg Ellis of Cullen-y fame!
I've got to say, hearing the almost-but-not-quite-voice of Garrus coming out of a human face was very weird.
Anyway, to return to a previous topic: what's everyone's experiences of archer rogues in the previous games? I've never played a protagonist archer, and it's not quite the same with companions.

As for archers, I've played one in DAO and it was a tad boring (just wasn't a fan of the archer moves or pace), but I'm thinking it may be different and hopefully a little more fast-paced in DAI. I love archers in Skyrim... 'course that might just be because they are kinda OP. xP

DAO and DA2 archery were completely different, though. The archer talents in DAO kinda sucked and it didn't go well with most specs. I changed my rogue from archer to DW during my first game. Now in DA2 my first Hawke was an archer and I loved it to bits. It was really cool to control the battlefield as an archer and he packed a lot of damage.

Anyway, in case you missed it, they did confirm all specs work for either archer or DW - so I assume the specific talents we saw on the specs trees change based on what your character is.
