It's the middle of the night in Skyhold and Varric can't sleep. What does he do?

 

A- Go for a walk on the battlements.

B- Go to the kitchen for a snack.

B. A bunch of dwarves drunk fighting about who's beard is better

Varric decides that the best course of action is to find a dusty old tome to bore himself to sleep. He walk out of his room and begin to make his way down the dark hallway. As he turn around a corner he can hear raised voices in the distance. He follow the sounds until he stand outside the Inquisitor's room. Something is going on, there's shouting inside. What does he do?

 

A - Shrugs it of and keep walking to the library.

B - Attempts to eavesdrop through the door.

C - Decides to enter the room.

I liked the 'snow leopard' look and it went with the ridiculously involved backstory I came up with while waiting for the GotY/Legendary edition to come out.

A- It was an argument about the 'Herald of Andraste' title and it's repercussions. (honest)

"Can't imagine anyone getting that angry about logistics," Varric says.  "Well, except for Cullen.  He really loves that stuff."  The Inquisitor tenses and looks at Varric warily.  "Mind you," Varric continues, "being a leader is tricky.  All those little problems... it would make anyone mad."  Varric rubs his chin.  Does he....

 

A- Pursue the matter further?

B- Let the Inquisitor tell him in his own time?

C- Go and pester Cassandra about it?

"Can't imagine anyone getting that angry about logistics," Varric says.  "Well, except for Cullen.  He really loves that stuff."  The Inquisitor tenses and looks at Varric warily.  "Mind you," Varric continues, "being a leader is tricky.  All those little problems... it would make anyone mad."  Varric rubs his chin.  Does he....

 

A- Pursue the matter further?

B- Let the Inquisitor tell him in his own time?

C- Go and pester Cassandra about it?

"Well, I'll let you get some shut-eye then. Good night" Varric says as he closes the door behind him. The Inquisitor mumbles a 'good night' back as he leaves. And all he finds is roasted nug. Varric shakes his head and thinks why do people eat these guys? they are just skinny little furrless things. it's pitiful to eat this. then he looks around and sees the inquisitor bought all new golden cutlery and understands why they can only afford to eat nug. He then decides

 

A. Eat the nug, go back to bed before Cole finds him (Cole lurks in the night btw)

B. refuses and goes to get some ale to drift him off to sleep

C. Gets Bianca. Poultry is gonna be his late night dinner.

B- Stick to humor to avoid a confrontation.

C- Comfort Cassandra.

Varric isn't convinced but shrugs and nods anyway. He shouldn't expect total honesty from the Inquisitor, s/he has plenty else on their mind and besides, they aren't very close.  Varric wonders how Hawke is doing. Where she is and if (insert love interest) is still tagging along. "You look like you're staring off somewhere far away," says the Inquisitor, "What's on your mind?"

 

A. Thinking about an old friend (honest)

B. Problems with the supply lines. (evasive/funny)

C. I don't like the color of those drapes. (random)

"A lot of things could have happened. Maybe someone took it by mistake. Maybe she misplaced it. Maybe it fell behind her desk and she didn't see it" Varric offered, counting possible scenarios on his fingers. Cassandra looked dubious. "What do you propose to do then?" she asks. What does Varric propose?

 

A- Search Leliana's office for the missing letter.

B- Question Leliana's assistants.

C- Question the guards on duty near Leliana's quarters.
