Maybe it fell behind her desk and she didn't see it" Varric offered, counting possible scenarios on his fingers. Cassandra looked dubious. "What do you propose to do then?" she asks. What does Varric propose?

 

A- Search Leliana's office for the missing letter.

B- Question Leliana's assistants.

C- Question the guards on duty near Leliana's quarters.

"We do a couple of things," started the dwarf, "I'll look around the office, see if I can find the letters or at least some clues." He points to the warrior, "Meanwhile, Seeker, you'll question the guards and see if anything hasn't been right in the last few hours. Use that charm of yours." Cassandra grimaced, "Why shouldn't we go to the assistants directly?" "We could, and we may have to, but I for one don't want to go around pointing fingers without a reasonable doubt." Cassandra nods and leads the way. Varric yawns as he enters the office, it's too late for this. Where does Varric search first?

 

A. The desk.

B. The walls, got to be a secret compartment somewhere.

C. The messenger pigeons.

Dazed, the dwarf squints at the two ladies, "I think I've had this dream before..." "I'll ignore that," sighs Cassandra as she reaches to help him up. Varric rubs the back of his head. There's a little blood on his hand where he touched the sore spot.  "Ah, my that hurt." "Did you see who did this to you, Varric?" asks Leliana. Varric raises an eyebrow, "Seeker, didn't you have an eye on who was coming in or out of this place?" Cassandra nodded. "No one entered through the door while you were in here." Varric notices something in the room... what is it?

 

A. The chill in the air coming from the open window.

B. A bookcase moved from it's spot on the wall.

C. Scorch marks on the stone flooring.

Leliana says brightly.  "That is such a surprise!  I would never have guessed!"  "Give it up Tweety," Varric growls.  "You're not fooling anyone."  He winces and rubs at his head again.  "I've bled for the cause, now it's your turn to spill!"  Does Leliana....
