Leliana lets her shoulders sag and sighs. '' Our spy network has been infiltrated'' she begins, holding a hand up to prevent interruptions. ''We've been receiving erroneous reports for a few months now. I first I thought it was a mistake, but someone is clearly feeding us false information. I was hoping to catch them tonight, but you came along and messed it up'' she finishes.

 

What does Varric do?

 

A- Apologize for messing up Leliana's plan?

B- Offer to search the castle for the spy?

C- Suggest to set another trap?

 

"Maker! I'm sorry for screwing things up Leliana. I guess I deserved this" he said, pointing at the bump on the back of his head. Leliana gave him the slightest hint of a smile. "So, what do we do now?" Cassandra asked impatiently. "Oh, don't you worry Seeker. I have a plan!" Varric answered with a smirk. What do Varric suggest? 

 

A - Set a trap for the spy

B - Follow the secret passage

C - Wake the Inquisitor

''Well, the intruder came through here'' Varric says as he points to the passage behind the bookcase. ''Let's see where this leads'' he says as he pushes the bookcase out of the way. The passage is dark and narrow. He grabs a torch from the hallway before making his way down. ''Keep your eyes open'' Varric warns the two women. ''Our intruder could still be down here''.

 

What happens next?

 

A- A gust of wind puts out the torch?

B- Varric slips and falls down the stairs?

C- The bookcase slams shut behind them?

As he gives a signal that all is clear for now, Cassandra and Leliana cautiously follow close behind. Only moments after Leliana steps through the passage though, the bookcase slams with a heavy thud behind her, nearly grabbing her foot.  In almost complete darkness, she attempts to open the passage once more but it is impossible. "What happened up there?" Varric asks in a concerned tone. What does she say?

 

A- This must be a trap.

B- She was the one who closed it to cover their tracks. (lie)

C- She heard someone block it from the other side.

Hopefully I'll get to watch the YT of the stream in a bit.  It like there was lots of cool stuff, and other things I'll reserve judgement on until I've actually seen and heard them.

"I need to get back to my room! I have to make sure they didn't take anything." Leliana said, her voice laced with panic. "You go ahead, I'm going to speak with the guard. They may have seen something." Cassandra answered. Varric sighed and said "Why can't things ever go according to plan?". What does Varric do?

 

A - Follow Leliana to her room

B - Join Cassandra to talk with the Captain of the guard

C - Offer to stay behind and watch the courtyard

Random theory on Varric and Bull:
We do know that they'll have problems with each other, but we do know that Varric, Bull and either Sera/Solas (I think it'll be Sera exclusive) compose team 'humans are crazy' or something like that. The name of The party makes me Thing that Varric and Bull won't be arguing all The times, and that they can somehow get along when the discussion isn't about The Qun.

I think you're right. From what we've seen and heard of Bull, he seem like someone Varric would get along with. The only problem is that he's still with the Qun.

I think Varric's Major problem might be that Bull might think that what The Qunari did in Kirkwall is what they were supposed to do.

"I'll stay here and keep a lookout. You go ahead ladies" Varric says, stationing himself in front of the main gate. Cassandra and Leliana go about their own way while Varric waits. Suddenly, he spots a figure making its way towards the gate. The person is moving stealthily and obvisouly doesn't want to be seen. What does he do?

 

A- Call for the person to identify themselves.

B- Shoot the skulking figure. (he has Bianca with him... somehow)

C- Stay quiet and watch what the figure does.
