I'm really happy, I just got a new job that I can work from home so I don't need to travel to work.

 

This means, of course, that the travel time between work and playing DAI will be the time it takes to get up from my laptop to my living room couch. Which is about 4 seconds.

 

I get to enjoy more time with the chest hair.

Sounds ideal.  I could never do it though - work while surrounded by all the things I want to be doing instead?  Madness!

Oh man I would get distracted so much... even though that does also sound pretty ideal for a super introverted person like me who has some social anxiety. A job where I could keep my pajamas on... and drink coffee all day... hmmm, keeps sounding better and better. xD Congrats on the job though, that's great!

Thank you guys! i've done at home jobs before and they are pretty good, you just need to sit yourself down and do whatever thing it is you need to do for a certain amount of time and then you can enjoy yourself.

 

Still, I'm pretty stoked that I'll be able to finish and then just turn on the PS4 and get back to being the inquisitor lol

I have only one friend who plays this game as well. My main issue will be my family telling me to get out of my room and interact with people instead of fictional characters on the screen. They just don't understand... I get to enjoy fake nature without leaving the comfort of the AC.

I swear I feel like a kid again and there's now a 100 more days between Halloween and Christmas.

Hello everyone been a long time since I came on here. Since I'm 90% sure that my copy is going to take a while to be mailed to me I think that my brain is making me go stir crazy already. I've tried to play through the ME trilogy and DA2 and Skyrim again and I burn out on them too quickly, it needs to be November already I want this game in my hands darnit. It's gotten to the point where my brain is trolling me by making me have dreams where I have DAI and am playing it before cruelly taking it all a way. Not sure how much more I can take with my own mind working against me

I'm back! Sorry I was absent for a while, folks, but I had this story I wanted to finish before November rolled around^^ You know how it is, once I get my copy of the game and get to hear our amazingly sexy dwarf talking, it's 'bye bye real world!' *lol* Though that'll likely happen even before that, since the Keep is goping in open beta soon (right, RIGHT?!)...

 

Anyway, it does indeed seem as if time has decided to crawl past us... I can barely distract myself anymore... If only it were November already (20th for me, since I live in Germany^^)

 

I'm also suspecting that when the 18th rolls around, this forum will temporarily resemble a ghost-town... you know, because we're all glued to our respective monitors (TV for me, the screen is bigger *gg*) drooling over Varric... I'm already stocking up on snacks and stuff, so I'll have to stand up as little as possible *lol*

I'll be in hibernation mode, I've just got to get my stash of snacks and drinks stocked up and I'll no doubt have a group of friends over to take their turn-hog the game- until they get the game. I have that week off from work and classes, apparently the DAI release falls on our reading week.

Well, all of my family has that date marked in their calenders, if only to know when I'll be off the planet^^ My mum keeps making jokes about how the house might burn down and I'd likely ignore it... Well, I might complain that its getting warm and thinking about turning the heating down... *rofl*

 

But I'll likely game alone... At first I thought it would be fun having a friend over so we can share the 'first time gaming' experience together, but I'm moving further and further away from that... With things like they are now, I'll most likely lounge on my grand couch, surrounded by NicNac's, Chips and Coke, gaming until I keel over with fatigue... Or my console overheats and shuts down... then I'll most likely keen loud enough to be heard in Alaska *lol*

I'm just happy that Warlords of Draenor comes out the week before. Now my boyfriend can't complain about me playing Dragon Age for days because he's going to be too busy leveling and gearing up all of his characters!

I plan to go on a media blackout on Monday 17 November to make sure that when US gets their release I am not spoiled majorly. This will be so hard (I'll have to stop checking this forum, tumblr, reddit, etc... I'll be so bored). I have taken the week off on 24 november - so that from Friday afternoon I'll be able to play the game non-stop. \o/ My husband is already prepared that I basically don't exist for the week. xD He might join me.

That's my plan too. I'm sure I'll find a way to distract myself for a few days, like studying ahead of class so that I can spend a week playing Inquisition without feeling too bad about it! ^^

I can't tell you how glad I graduated a year or so ago and am not in school when DAI comes out. I'd fail all my finals. @_@

 

EDIT: I kid, I've never failed a test in my life but it would be a struggle.

I'll probably have a blackout mode here soon. I need to finish up the semester before I can really get into the game, so until around early December. I'll probably avoid the forums starting when people start playing until then, but I'll be back.
