I'm in the States and I see people (PC players) posting banners of 20 DAYS UNTIL INQUISITION and I'm like, no it's 21 because I have to wait until my gamestop opens to get my copy so boooo on you.

Just pointing out that I love how the Keep describes Friendship Hawke as "Varric's best friend".

I hope no matter what happens, Varric gets to have a happy ending. I'd like to see him find Bianca and be happy with her, or at least get some kind of closure if she's dead. He's a wonderful character that I really love and I don't want to imagine him wandering unhappily through the world forever.

Pretty much! And if things don't work out with Bianca, I hope he moves on. The guy deserves to be happy. He's been through a lot!

I would have preferred it if he were a romance of course, but a girl can't have everything. I'll get over it eventually, I'm sure. *sniff*

Well, if they had explained that Varric was never written or intended as a romance, it would have saved a lot of heartache, and it would have made a lot of people less upset when they just randomly say that Varric isn't a romance on some twitter account.  I would have understood if they had made that clear from the beginning- it's realistic that someone would feel that way. I just feel like they dangled a carrot in front of us and snatched it away last minute.

(I still want to know if we can get the deluxe extras as DLC after launch, since the Inq Edition only comes with the standard game on PC in the UK, but I'm not having much luck finding out)

I agree. It was tactless of them to just randomly say it so informally, not to mention so late. It really upset a lot of people.

 

I HOPE they let them all out at once, but I'm not holding my breath. They've let them out one at a time (in some cases two at a time) in I think every BioWare game. I would like them to change that in the future though. It's a bit mean to release them one at a time like this.

Yeah, I can see Varric being super sweet to Bethany. He always had a serious soft-spot for her. I think he has a Knight-in-Shining-Armor thing going on with somewhat oblivious girls. Bethany and Merrill can take care of themselves, but he watches out for them anyway.

Basically, you make sure you don't have console enabled, load the game, log in, load a save, equip and unequip an item, save the game. Then you sync in the Keep - but it usually takes some days for the character to show up.

actually its 19, when you count down to a release you don't count the current day or the day of release.

The only thing that syncs is your Warden/Hawke's names/picture. It doesn't upload your saves and you get to choose everything you want

didn't you say you were in the states? I am to lol and plus  I'm actually surprised your GameStop isn't having a midnight release since Far Cry 4, WWE 2K15 (PS4/X-1 Version), GTA 5 (PS4/X-1 Version), Little Big Planet 3 and 5 other games all come out on the 18th, mine already said they were. Its after midnight, 18 days to go

Ah, and here I was wondering why some of the choices weren't what I had chosen^^ Ah, no matter, I've pieced one worldstate together, later I'll try and convince the server to allow me to listen to Varric some more... I was thrown from the server a few times... And I managed to wait until today to check out the keep, too^^
