So for those of you on the fence about the spoilers, I won't tell what it IS, but what it's about. I know some of you might want to know so that you can prepare. I'll still put it under spoiler even though my post isn't technically spoiling anything.

I was mainly going WHAT at the second spoiler since the first one makes sense and is not surprising if you let that happen you just let his best friend get killed over something he did not even commit.

Oh the whole red lyrium corruption thing is true I have seen the card its heartbreaking to look at. Oh I was also just saying in the spoiler group those who like varric and let him keep the shard hoping for a future use their hearts are going to be annihilated and bioware is going to drink their tears. Personally I am in agreement with Ynqve I can see no use for the darn thing always made him get rid of it. Considering holding a mere shard causes people to go insane and the possible connection to demons.

Exactly, as useful as that red lyrium was for Varric's Bianca (it did give three extra rune slots for it anyway lol), it just SCREAMED 'I'm the bad choice!' I could never let him keep that thing. Still glad to see your past choice actaully can make some serious impact on characters though.

I am quite glad that bioware did that actually past decisions having huge ramifications. Hell I am quite interested to see what happens to conner since I let the demon have him power for the blight and all that. Plus there is  a host of other horrible outcomes that can happen to your companions and there IS a fail ending according to bioware in an interview so you gotta make the right choices. Lead them or fall is quite literal XD if you want I can link it or send it in a pm varric's "bad" card.

If you let Varric keep the red lyrium he will eventually get insane, you either have to:

 

-Kill him or

-Allow the Bianca demon to use Varrics corpse, so you have a walking varric corpse as a party member. The other inquisition members will be majorly pissed off with you for doing this.

That the Red Lyrium is bad mojo was predictable, but I wonder if the second part is true. Depending on the "demon" personality and powers, I might be willing to play a World State with that choice. Perhaps a "demon" with a twisted version of Varric's personality?

I'm so very glad you spoiled yourself on that one! I can't imagine facing that in game, it's so awful. It would make Mordin seem like nothing at all, at least he gave his life for something he believed in. This is just tragic!

My hawke sided with the mages. almost entirely because Meredith said "kill everyone in the circle" hawke's little sister bethany was in the circle, and there was no way that hawke was going to allow bethany to die. It felt like the right action for my hawke.

And Chibi, I sided with both, for multiple reasons, depending on the playthrough. But the first one I will import was mage-supporting. I think it is bound to affect how people see Hawke at least, don't you guys think?

I ended up with the Mages because Kirkwall was of course treating them super unfairly. I do hate however that this whole mess has carried on to another game and I kinda hope we'll still get to see the plight of the casteless, the city elves and other groups.

[spoiler] who in the heck would Hawke die for Anders Crimes my Hawkes always turned in.Even if you hate Hawkes letting him die for someones eles crimes is just stupid in my opinion. although if you helped yea i could see it but never helped him always told him to get lost in act 2 [/spoilers]
