People who have romanced Dorian, I feel like I got Dorian's dad mission earlier last playthrough. Anyone know if there's anything I need to do to make it happen or was it just something that will occur?

Yep. Many people have finished games without getting it. I think it might be tied to exhausting Dorian's dialogue while ignoring Giselle, but no one knows what causes it.

Well I just met hawke and Stroud and both Giselle and Dorian's dialogue is now exhausted so plllllleeeease don't be glitched. I'm gonna be so upset if it is...

Same thing happened to me. I was able to do his quest on my first playthrough but not on my second run. It sucks! I hope they patch it soon.

When I mentioned it on Twitter, it didn't seem like they knew what the problem was, so I recommend people with this bug to mention it to devs.

Ok, I got to go to work so now I guess I'll have to wait. I don't know if I ever talked to Dorian about the magister but on the bright side I did have the good sense to save before the Heart shall burn quest so at least I could backpedal only 5 hours if necessary and not start all over.
I know my bf said he didn't get Dorian's friendship quest until much later in the game which I thought was very odd. Siiiigh. Thanks for all you help.
Ah yes, some people say they got it very late but so many didn't get it at all so it's better not to risk it and reload, especially when it's not that long ago for you. I'll PM you when they get back to me about that trick. And you're welcome

So how easy is it to adapt the appearance of a certain visitor to Skyhold to look like the default but with some changes? Is the base appearance for the customisation the default or something else?

Base appearance is default. 
It's easy to start with the default and just make slight changes if that's what you want to go for.

It might just be later for you because of that. But it should trigger very early for people who go mages. Anyway, some people are saying that ignoring Giselle until late causes issues.
It's so funny because in DA2 we needed a mod to be able to change the default faces and now it's the easiest look to recreate.
By the way. All you guys are more than welcome in the Ser Barris thread. Be lovely to have more familar faces in there. It boomed a lot more than I could ever have imagined.
Feeling sorry for everyone getting hit with game/quest breaking bugs. The only ones I've been hit with are the voice changing one, delayed cut scenes in the Adamant quest/Cass romance -but a reload fixed that- ,Cole being shown as knocked out and I can't select him in the fade and a rare random armour one with my Dwarf inquisitor where he randomly changes into his Skyhold clothes instead of his armour when I'm fighting a dragon and always when Bull's in the party.
- A new glitch this time it's Screen flickering, so now I can't play the game, anyone else got this. 
-I've checked everything else and they work fine with other games and stuff.

@ Cher , I sided with the templars with my 2nd file and it took me finishing a Venatori Hunt, doing all his war table quests, judgements he approved of and doing random side quests with him to get it, so it's possibly the Templar thing.
I had a glitch once where Bull got knocked out and I revived him so fast with a spell his icon was stuck on the skull until I went back to skyhold. XD I also had one where when I fast traveled to the Hinterlands he had no legs for a couple seconds.
