*hugs Kath* I'm glad you're okay now. :c
So of course my lady elf gets Dorian's quest no problem.
Pardon me while I weep
;______;
awh... :/ I still haven't gotten his quest in my new file, either. guess he hates me for not saving redcliffe.

I took a break from Inquisiting today (and last night) to play ALIEN: ISOLATION. It is very tense. So far I've hidden from the Alien behind a counter, under a table, and frantically scurried my way around a table as It and Amanda went round it several times. I think my favourite moment, though, had to be...
*comes out of a lift*
"Huh, what's dripping out of that ceiling vent in front of me there?"
*hears rasping, metallic breathing noise*
"........oh."
*freezes in place - in game, and in real world, until It goes away*

Oooooh! I wanna play that game so bad, it sounds so scuuuury. I hope it scares me as much as Outlast did.
Why is this game so long and interesting? I keep getting side tracked from my Romance side quest >.>
If I was truly dedicated to these things I would just plow through everything else to get all the romance cards :|
So far my Isileth looks like a dead cert on Sera, but that may change. She's the only one that doesn't seem overly impressed or overawed by the Herald/Inquisitor thing. Plus. cute, funny and mad.
In the game I'm currently 'clearing down' the Hinterlands and the Forbidden Oasis before I move on to somewhere new. What region is the generally accepted 'next step' to go to? The quest that hovers over the war table in Skyhold's map is the Emprise de Lion.

I always go to Emprise du Leon later because I never wanna spend 20 dang power on it early in-game, but also if I remember correctly the enemies are kinda high-leveled there, so depending on your level it could either be a great place to go or dangerous lol. Lots of great quests and resource materials there, though.
After Hinterlands... hmm, I guess I usually go to Crestwood or the Western Approach/Exalted Plains. Funny thing is I loathed the Exalted Plains in my first file, but after exploring it more thoroughly this time around and actually finding cool stuff instead of wyvern hunting for 5 hours, I've decided it's not so bad.
I feel ya Bliss. I wanna play now too, but I lent a friend my game for a few days, till hers arrives in the mail. xD Figured since I've already beaten the game and she's had to wait so long, it was the nice thing to do... but now I'm realizing I had a slight addiction. lol

I think I have enough spare power to go basically anywhere, or possibly everywhere, right now. I'm level 13 right now, so I guess something a little tougher wouldn't be so bad,
But then, I was going to try against the Hinterlands dragon, too. Last I saw it was level 38... and since I was about level 8 at the time I got right out of there. I haven't fought one yet.

Any time I think The Alien is around, I get very tense and start to eye ceiling vents nervously. When I actually see it, things move into slightly sweaty palms territory.
It hasn't actually seen me yet, as far as I can tell. Which also means I haven't been attacked by it yet, of course. I am very glad on both counts.

The dragon in the Hinterlands should only be level 13. o_o Unless there's another one I don't know about, are we talking about the Ferelden Frostback? If you're level 13, it should be a challenge but not impossible. That's probably the lowest level I would attempt to defeat it on. Wear some fire resistant gear and get some frost runes, bc I think it's weak to cold damage if I remember correctly. :3
Sounds like that game is right up my alley. >D

Question for you guys! Do know where to find Varric at the Winter Palace? I can't find him anywhere except before you enter the ballroom for the first time.

I brought him in my first file but I'm drawing a blank... Dx Does he show up on the map?

It does but it shows him in an area I cannot seem to access. It shows him on the Lower Level of the Winter Palace.

Yeah, it's a lower level that you can unlock with those statue things. Go to that court yars where you climbed up the tarace for the first time. To the left of that there's a locked down. Go down and he's there
Ahh I see now thank you so much to the both of you that answered! I guess I'll have to come back then once I find one more statue so I can access this area.
So many odd things happened with DAI yesterday, my grandma checked in on my cousin and I playing DAI so I thought I would show her the character my cousin made she went with an elf mage so I had to make a cut scene happen, she liked the character a lot but then started just being confused of the other characters like couldn't wrap her head around the 'fat short guy' or the 'skinny bald dwarf' it was fairly funny but later we ended up talking about the game again and got scolded for killing a dragon in the game not by my little cousin but by my adult grandmother and she was dead serious too. She doesn't want my cousin to play anymore either because she found out that she was hunting rams. She is an odd lady.

That's weird. I'm sure it said 38 when I clicked on it in the tac cam back then. Well, I guess I'll give it a try then!

Sad news everyone. Not only did I get murderised by some dodgy synthetics, I got found by It.... hiding in a cupboard didn't work so well this time, after I sprinted away from It. It dragged me out, and.... well, black screen. It seems they save you from seeing your grisly demise, unlike the Dead Space games which simply love to show just how you get torn to pieces!

My sister is home from college right now and wants me to buy the Fatal Frame series for us to play. As Horror games are about the only thing she's into.
Pray for me, I may die of a heart attack.

Your sister sounds cool! That used to be how I was until friends also dragged me into fantasy RPG's. Nobody would ever play scary stuff with me, so I was like fiiiiine, and now I'm obsessed with Dragon Age and Skyrim. xD
Btw, Fatal Frame is terrifying. I don't get scared easily, but man that series had me on edge. It's soooo good, though. Let me know what you think! buahahaha ![]()
I feel you Ceo, I'm scared to even look these games up!
I don't think I've heard of those... what sort of thing are they, besides horror?
