I don't think I've heard of those... what sort of thing are they, besides horror?
They're based off a japanese scary legend, and your 'weapon' is basically your camera. Boss fights are terrifying, s'all I'm gonna say about that.

That right there is enough to terrify me. The Japanese are good at making scary games. (Silent Hill, anyone?).
Stay strong, Ceo!
Unrelated, but going into other character threads I feel like an alien because people keep saying they keep going back to playing the same character and romance and I just don't get it.
Admittedly, I've played the same romance twice now, but only bc I had the banter bug in my first file. xP My characters are completely different though! Went from human mage siding w/mages to dwarf rogue siding w/templars.

Silent Hill is my favorite video game series of all time.
If I'm a super-nerd on any subject, it is that game.

Is this bug something that lingers on, then, regardless of patches? Is it to do with the frequency of the banter or anything like that?

I'm not exactly sure what causes it exactly, but after following some advice from the thread about it, my second file has been much better. In my first file, I beat the game hearing only a handful of banters. Now I get at least a couple every hour, I'd say. As opposed to one every several hours like before.

Idk, this is like the first Bioware game where I don't end up going for the same romance over and over and over again. Not because I don't like them, but because there's just so many that I want to do this time! I'm doing Bull now, after that I'll probably do Dorian and then Sera or Cass.
I'm 90 % sure that I'll end up going back to mage!Trevelyan/Blackwall as my perfect canon run, but that's not on my current to-do list.
Yup, there's almost too many Inquisitors to play and romances to do ![]()
Unfortunately I'm not getting much done right now. Decided to pick the game up today, I've been taking a break since the patch. 10 minutes later: crash to desktop. Lovely!
Somebody in another thread was talking about playing a different type of hero: one that doesn't end up larger than life and it got me thinking: playing a psychologist could be interesting.
Can you imagine being the therapist to the Inquisition people, companions and advisors both? So many messed up people. Varric alone could use some serious counselling.

I've thought about going for Dorian again. But it seems to defeat the purpose of playing again if I'm going to do the same thing. Gonna give Bull another try, if I can get past the BDSM I'll be good. Because he's hot and badass. Two things I love.

Same, my new playthrough has had tons of banter. It's weird/

I hope that works out for you. :3 There's a way to avoid most of the implied BDSM elements I've heard, if you choose the sweeter options in dialogue. Um... I'm a perv so I can't vouch for it personally but I believe the others who've said it. XD

I lol'd, because it's sad but true. xD; sigh.

I might need to write a fanfic... A chapter for each companion/advisor.

Not really. You'd have to also ignore the banter, avoid some investigative options and then there's the
Spoiler
It really depends on what exactly about it bothers you, though.
Ah, yeah. :c I was thinking it would mostly be avoidable save for the scene you mentioned, but you're right - there's the banter and such which also heavily implies it. Especially with Cole.
Wait who did you romance twice? Bull? I never got banter for that either
Yeah. I didn't get any Bull romance banter on my first file, but I've gotten a bit from Cass so far on my new one.
Ahhh! I didn't get any of that before! Not a thing! : ((( I might have to load an earlier save just to run around and he people commentYeah. I didn't get any Bull romance banter on my first file, but I've gotten a bit from Cass so far on my new one.
Spoiler
That's weird. I'm sure it said 38 when I clicked on it in the tac cam back then. Well, I guess I'll give it a try then!
Turns out its armour is 38. The Hinterlands dragon is level 12.
I think I'll be having a go at it tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Yeah, that dang banter is so hard to get! Still trying to trigger Cole's, he has some highly amusing Bullmance banter as well lol.

Oh that makes sense then! XD Heck yeah, I'm rootin' for ya!
