Solas says a snarky comment about how his grim facade just helps him get the inquisitor in bed so I assume they've slept together but idk...

 

I kept my tattoos though. I though about it and felt that whatever they meant before doesn't matter. Now that she knows what they were, she can own it and give them new meaning

I think they might have thought some people would feel tricked and squicked out since the PC doesn't know the truth about him, so decided to leave it to each player.

 

And *finally* someone who agrees with me on the vallaslin thing. Pretty much everyone on the Solas thread removed them. I think it's a lot more conservative to remove them and keep being chained to scraps of knowledge about the past. Plus, my Dalish cares more about their current community, returning to her clan and how that would set her apart from all the others.

yeah. I mean I get it. I was shocked to find out they were slave markings too. So if you don't like them, then by all means, get rid of them.

 

But right now? Being a Dalish, proud of her clan, proud of how far her people have come? I felt like these markings meant more now than ever. It is a symbol of solidarity among my clan and other clans, and no dead/banished god can tell me different. They are a part of her. 

 

But yeah, sad face for my Quizzy. If we get a "wolf hunt" that's like morrigan's witch hunt then I want some answers. Also, my elf is bffs with Dorian and I keep imagining, that upon meeting again, that Dorian like punches Solas and scolds him for making his best friend cry!! >: D

Alright guys, out of curiosity. Favorite DA:I companion and least favorite ?

 

My fav is Blackwall, he's a mainstay in my party across all playthroughs. I've loved him since he was first announced and he has probably my favorite storyline of all the DA:I companions.

 

Least favorite would be Viv. She's a power hungry ****** and I'm not a fan of the way she treats my companions.

My favorite is Cole. my little baby boy he's so darling and wonderful and just let me wrap you in a blanket and give you hot coco.

 

Honestly? my least favorite is Blackwall. I find him to be kind boring by himself. I mean his big reveal was cool, but then he goes back to being kinda stoic? I love his interactions with other characters, but by himself ehhhhh, not my fave

 

That is not to say I dislike really any of these characters, I might not like some things they say or do but I love how real they feel.

It is, but this is also a pretty close knit group. So we use it to talk to each other.

Oh for sure, it just depends what kind of characters you like at the end of the day.

 

And Cole would be my absolute favorite if not for Dorian and Blackwall. Sooo adorable.

Yeah, if he is anything like Oghren it's definitely a no go for me as well. Even if I am craving a dwarf LI.

But I'd like to see a dwarf like Richard Armitage's Thorin

Randomly interrupting whats going on right now (I need so much better timing and to get on here at better times) 

 

My cousin got to Varric's personal quest yesterday he didn't like DA2 didn't play it and ended up hating Varric's personal quest and most of all Bianca and not being able to haul her in for judgement for the thing she did. For someone who didn't like DA2 he still liked Varric and was upset with what they did with him. The power of Varric seems to be quite strong

 

 

Also Blackwall is Awesome! But I think Cole is my favy I love that little sweeties to a million zillion pieces

I love Blackwall, but I can see why others don't like him. Either because of what he's done or because they don't get to see his humor. I love running around with him and Sera, they are great together.

 

My least favorite is without a doubt Vivienne. But I still love her as a character, she's well written and interesting. I just don't get along with her.

Yeah, I don't think that quest was very well received even outside of us old Varricmancers. I had a quick look in the Bianca dislike thread in Scuttlebutt (or at least I think it was there) and there were many who didn't like it. Of course there were people who liked her and the quest, and more power to them. I wish I could like it, but I don't.

Usually depends on my class and who I'm romancing but my go to mage seems to be Dorian and my go to warrior tends to be Blackwall. But like i said I keep changing it up a lot only thing that stays the same is that I seem to rarely use Varric or Vivienne or Solas.

Right now it's Blackwall (Always Blackwall, he stays in on all my playthroughs.) Viv, and Sera. It's a pretty hilarious party.

When I talked to friends who don't play the game, but know my love for the game, they didn't like what happened to Varric. lol and I asked them to be honest, you know. "Don't say you think it's bad because you know I like Varric!" I told them and they were all pretty much like, yeah no, that's sad. lol

For Vollna Cadash it was: Iron Bull, Cole and Dorian

 

For Bayram Adaar (which I'll pick up soooon hopefully) it was: Dorian, Sera, Blackwall

 

For Sonel Lavellan it's: Solas, Cass and Cole/Sera (interchangeably) 

 

I'm TRYING to switch it up so I get more banter

Blackwall and Sera. But I try to give everyone a go. I'm really bad at picking Vivienne, but when she does get to tag along it's awesome because then we're going dragon hunting!
