I hear ya Bliss. I went to the Winter Palace totally prepared to support Gaspard with my dwarf and ended up having no choice but to choose Celene again. XD NOT WHAT I WANTED, GAME! Seems like you need to do really well at halla statue hoarding if you want to get blackmail against her, sigh.

If you want the 3 of them to work together, you need dirt on everyone. If you want Gaspard to rule alone, Celene has to die. No way around it,

I really like Celene too much and agree with her mostly politically so I've been keeping her on the throne. Had to look up the way to get her and Briala together though.

Mmm, spoilers.  I'm trying my best not to read them, and not entirely succeeding...  Bah.

 

 

In other news I'm suffering from what I'm calling "Sudden Onset Tomb Raider Obsession" - it wasn't the new-ish tie-in novel I got for Christmas (although that did start it off) but the fanfic I read after that which twisted my head into a knot.  I might have to play it again sometime really soon if I'm ever to cope.

 

Plus, back to work on Monday.  Bleugh.

Thank you. Things are looking up - I've made great progress on my dissertation. But obviously that also means I've been really busy.

 

Today something bizarre happened: my bed broke. And I don't mean the wooden pieces that support the mattress - the actual metal side frame collapsed. Never thought I'd experience that since I'm such a lightweight, but apparently this 14-year old bed that was poor quality to begin with wanted me to experience new things

I have seen the book handed over to Cassandra now.  Funny!  I also have a better image of the previous 'chapter' as it was on a table in Emprise Du Lion!

 

She also officially turned Isileth down in the romance stakes.  I can't say me and the Inquisitrix weren't a little sad about that, but you can't have everyon- uh, everything!

Ha, not at all. This is the bed at my parents' - dad just put some screws on it and there it goes again. (It was like welded together before and it corroded.) Thankfully, my own bed at my own place is actually worth a damn xD

So... why is it that they say online you can flirt with Varric in DAI, but I haven't found any opportunity to do so? Is it bound to race? Which would be odd, considering all the options you have to tease Harding...

I think you do need to officially be in a relationship with someone by the Ball in order to get a dance scene. :3 Just a guess but since it's always your LI that dances with you, that's what I would assume.
