That sounds awesome.
AARGH!
Oh, it's me, fine, never mind.

Also because the darkspawn live in the deep roads that might give us a reason to go underground and meet more dwarves.
One thing that would be interesting to see is a dwarf who is part of the Legion of the Dead but then FALLS IN LOVE WITH THE PLAYER CHARACTER. they'd be all torn between their oath to basically die in service to other dwarves and being in love and wanting to live. yes. yes please.
Oh gawd yes! There's enough drama and angst in that to make a decent love interest for straight female characters xD
Also, that's pretty much what I imagine a Sigrun romance would look like (just add some taint for extra angst), and I would have romanced her in a heartbeat.

I MISS YOU GUYS.
I do find it interesting that Varric has extensive knowledge on dwarven culture, despite his contempt for it.

A quiet thread is a sad thread.
On the other hand, a busy thread is frickin' tiring.

Expectations of dwarven culture, I suspect. Orzammar's traditions hold strong, even on the surface.
I think Varric is around 4'0" - 4'6"/1.21 - 1.37 meters.
I hope that's about right ![]()

His chest hair agrees with that assessment of his height

ea access is stupid -.-
and if anyone wants video speculation, there's always the lovely lady insanity ![]()
New Telltale GoT episode and Dragon Age DLC on the same day? Today is a good day! Looks like I picked a good time to return to the forums.

I haven't been hearing good things about the DLC. From what I hear you just get the Hinterlands 2.0 and on steroids. If you like combat and fetch quests it's good, otherwise...

Yeah, I saw some worrying posts after I wrote that. On the one hand, I guess it's nice with Avvar lore but I'm not sure if it's worth the current price. If it were a wolf hunt/wardens/dwarf DLC I'd be all over it.

Focus on the Telltale GoT for now. There are murmurs of a Walking Dead season 3 for 2015...

Ahhhh! I'm so happy there are more Telltale fans here! I can't wait for season 3 of the Walking Dead. You know, I've never played Boarderlands but their Tales from the Boarderlands is actually very good.
I'm still very excited to hear of more of the lore from the avvars. we hear so little from them and i honestly haven't cared too much because they just seem a little like crazy barbarians but that Bright-Axe quest was interesting in DAI

I haven't finished season 1 and I just watched season 2 (tight budget...), but I do like the series. I prefer Wolf Among Us though. The noir genre. ![]()

I felt that the Wolf Among Us was their weakest piece so far, which is a shame because I thought it started really strongly. I just don't think the follow through was as good.
However, Seasons 1&2 of the Walking Dead blew me away. GoT is proving to be pretty good and Tales from the Boarderlands makes me laugh a lot.

Where have you been? The Varric thread has been desolate. ![]()

No, the fact it's not releasing on the 360 is stupid.
We don't even have a release date......
I feel the need to mention Life Is Strange as an alternative means of entertainment, also. Because tis awesome, and episode 2 came out today!
(oh, that? I had a jokey name change recently is all....)
Did you guys see the Ultimate Party results? Varric was the winning rogue. Alistair and Morrigan were the other chosen companions. The Warden was voted as the Ultimate hero (no surprise)
It seems the snarky companions are the most popular...
I didn't pay much attention to it but saw the results. It just seemed to exist to pit character fans against each other, to be honest.

Idk, busy with real life I suppose. But I've missed this place! Feels good to be back

I adore the Wolf Among Us, but the nothing compares to the feels of TWD season 1. That game broke me, I sobbed for over an hour after finishing the last episode.
