I won't decide on my first inquisitor until I know the last two romances and the gating. I already have like 5 inquisitors somewhat planned out, I just don't know which one I'll do first.

Hey guys, I'm sorry if this isn't on topic (but it does involve Varric).
I keep seeing stuff about Bianca being an actual woman from forum topics and random comments on other sites but I personally have never found anything stating who or what she was to Varric. The closest thing was Varric telling another companion that his crossbow involved a girl and a promise. I also see people saying things as far as a woman named Bianca made the crossbow and before she died she asked Varric to name it. That last part I know isn't true because the person who created Bianca was revealed in Legacy. But who is Bianca really? Not assumptions. Facts and confirmations.
Would anyone be kind enough to send me links to sites proving who Bianca is past the crossbow?
I would appreaciate it. Please and thank you. :3

We really don't know that much about her. We just know she existed and she is important to varric

Don't worry, this weekly prompt post is designed for artists of all skill levels. I actually created it with the intention of people submitting little things like party banters, ficlets, or doodles. People are of course encouraged to do more if a prompt really speaks to them, but it's in no way expected of submissions. The main purpose of these prompts is to have fun. So draw away I say! I look forward to seeing it.

 

You also don't have to submit art if you don't want to. Fanfics, fanvids, interpretive dances etc... anything that you can create either on the computer, or post a photo/video of is fair game. The prompt post rules and information actually has a few other media suggestions as well.

Sooo I was going to play a qunari mage my first play but even if Varric is not a love interest I think I am going to play a dwarf rogue just remembered my other games were a warrior and mage I need a good sneeky rogue hero, and the DA dwarves are so cute ^^;;

 

I keep going from a fem Qunari mage to a fem rouge dwarf for my first play through.

If Varric isn't a LI I prefer Solas. I don't find him as attractive as some other options, but he seems more interesting and unique. We've already romanced grey wardens, and know the unique aspects of their lives (appetite, the calling, etc) we have not romanced someone who travels the fade the way Solas does, or experienced his unique viewpoint. (Also, I'm still not convinced he isn't connected to the happenings of msked empire)

Of course, Varric is still my no.1 choice. He's too much fun

It'll be either a qunari mage or a human rogue for my first playthrough. If Varric is restricted to 1 or 2 races however, I'd need to rethink that

Yes Varrics nick name of my femquisitor is stars because she fell from the sky :3 I know I took liberties but meh Varric loves his nicknames XD

I don't know what I'm going to do if Varric isn't a LI. I guess Cullen will be my second choice. Solas is not that bad but they really louse up his look. I would prefer if he'll look like in War room concept art. He was quite intriguing there (that smirk) I can't ignore this Nicolas Cage appearance. xD

Yes and Fade Nightmares aren't necessarily a good solid source of information about people, if the nightmares in Origins are anything to go by. I'd take anything in that scene with a grain of salt until we're told otherwise.

I'll come up with something for the prompt later.  I'm just hanging out until I go to a birthday party.  

 

Since someone asked who the other male LI that we'd want, I'd go with Blackwall.  He's an older guy as well as a fully-fledged Grey Warden.  He's seen a lot of battles and yet, judging from his blurb, knows how to laugh.  Then someone compared him to Joe Manganeillo and that pretty much sealed it.

 

 

Among the current crop of LIs, none so far.  I'm probably going to have to play the game and get to know them first.  I haven't written them off at all, but none are really my type so far based upon looks and description.  Well, except Dorian, but he's for my second Quizzy.

I adore your headcanon! I'm adopting that as my own until proven otherwise. Stars would be such an awesome nickname for the Inquisitor! 

 

I'd definitely like him to refer to us by some nickname other than the Inquisitor, it'll be easier to do this time around since unlike Hawke all Inquisitors will share a physical attribute that makes for an easy target for a nickname.

I feel the same way.  Because, you know, if I want the most reliable source of truth on Thedas, I always check a Fade Nightmare.  

 

This is why I sigh every time some goes, "Well, Bianca did ____."  We can't say for sure, because the Fade seems to lie or at least obscure the truth in all things.  It seems to be part of the nature of that place.

Well the fade can tell us certain things about Bianca, either varric has a vary unhealthy relationship with his crossbow (possible) or there was someone from his past named bianca, and he cared about her in either a romantic way or with a great deal of respect that he could see himself liking her that way. The fade does not lie when it comes to manipulating feelings already there.

 

Alistairs fade dream in DA:O is a great example, he really wanted to connect  to his sister so deeply he would forget everything else if he could.

Exactly! All we know is that she's real and that he cared about her. I'm not going to assume anything else.

Oh no, I'm not saying Bianca isn't real.   Please don't mistake me, as I'm sure she is/was very real, and someone he truly loved.  It's the events of their departure that I throw into question.  I have a feeling things didn't happen exactly like how it was depicted in that Dream.

 

I actually thing it happened a great deal differently than in the fade part of the reason why varric did not and could not believe it.
