Human engineer, Primes positively can't stand combat drones. I spec my drone for detonate, shock, chain lightning and just keep casting it up, the prime will almost always attack the drone and you can then overload and incinerate him and fire with a high rate of fire weapon like the lancer.
good, old transformers. so old now, but so much better than current hollywod's crap.

Novaguard also laughs at prime stunlock if you can nova cancel correctly.
Krolord with a Reegar and incendiary ammo. Blast with the Reegar until the shields are down, then initiate the three light melee combo with biotic hammer active. If the prime isn't dead, it'll wish it was.
Havoc strike, if activated just before the first pulse hits you, lasts long enough to absorb all three siege pulse shots without taking any damage. If you have incendiary strike, it'll also take out any pets nearby.
Paladin. Just, Paladin.

QME absolutely destroys those bastards as well though especially if you have incendiary rounds.
My personal favourite way of taking on Primes is with the Justicar.
With good positioning and a well placed Biotic Sphere you can force the Prime to repeatedly spawn turrets and drones inside the sphere giving you a constant stream of biotic explosions. I find it just feels so satisfying to use the Primes own damnable pets against it

My new Favourite method I discovered last nght with QU, Mako, and Iggy:
Four paladins all specced for flame shield slapping the hell outa those mechanical scumbags.
Slap->energy drain(FE)->repeat.
Literally beat everything and everyone to death one by one as a rolling 4 man squad.
*Points at prime* "You're next to die!"
KroLord also works for those lacking friends willing to participate in dishing out brutal gang beatings to the deserving.

The answer to all my ME3 rage induced problems. 
I like using the Volus Merc and casting the drone behind him and the decoy in front of him to watch the Prime do continuous 360's. Bonus if you've got a Human Engineer buddy's shock drone in on the action.
